@TheLazyFish Thanks! :)
@The Hooded Figure Maybe I am overthinking them a little...but does that necessarily mean I'm wrong?
And by Godzilla being an allegory for nuclear allegory, I was referring to the character as a whole, not just his MonsterVerse incarnation. I do plan on covering the MonsterVerse's stance on the nuclear issue in the future. I can already tell that you're going to tell me I'm wrong, though.
But whatever. It's all entertainment in the end. I think we can afford to have some measure of subjectivity on this.
No one really has the best idea, but there was an article recently saying that there's good odds of it coming out in some kind of convention? I can't remember really, but if you dig through the recent articles you might find it. Not official or anything, but just that there might be good odds of it being then.
I never would have thought of that! I really hope that's true, because that would just add another layer to that movie! Even if not... it's still a terrifying thought. Thanks for this incredible analysis of the Mutos!
They look really good. Wish I could draw like that.
I began to love the G-man when i first saw the Godzilla tv show back when i was 6. since i love him so much. A TRUE KING. That proud look in his eyes in Godzilla king of the monster's after he became king nothing can beat that.
Added a little annotation about Shockirus. Sorry 'bout that.
And thanks for the feedback! :)
Hi there! Enjoy your stay here at scified!
DANG! These look so cool!
I really want to showcase my art now...
Thanks! That'll be a ways out before I get the chance to do anything like that, but I have some stuff I saved to tide people over in the meantime...
Love the way Shockirus and Chameleon look. And everything else also looks awesome.
Can't wait to see a showcase of your fanart of other people's kaiju OCs. Nice job. :)
That is so interesting. I really wished that they delved into that more in the other films instead of letting it happen in a comic or forgetting about them in the films.
Also, ["Being the first truly original monsters in the franchise since Terror of Mechagodzilla’s Titanosaurus (monsters with some genetic connection to Godzilla, i.e. Biollante, SpaceGodzilla, Orga, and Megaguirus, do not count),..."] Shockirus from The Return of Godzilla (1984): Am I a joke to you?
@MinecraftDinoKaiju I wish I could hold myself to the same kind of commitment...
@Gmkgoji He'll deflect it with his Beard of Kong-ness!
I shall wait until the figures are shown in all of their glory before judging and saying if NECA or S.H. MonsterArts did 2019 Mothra and 2019 Rodan better.
It's too good to be true, but I'm only going to see this one trailer, and then wait until the film comes out. After that, then I will watch the other trailers.
That's how I'm going to do it, anyway.
@Gmkgoji You mean like Vaal-Hazak from the Monster Hunter series?
For the first time ever, I'm actually gonna say that I think NECA did a better job here, at least on Mothra. Her NECA counterpart has a lot more detail from what I've seen. Kinda 50/50 on Rodan.
I hope it’s true. I’ve tried really hard to be patient but it’s getting harder
Well they kept us waiting long enough. It's about time they gave us something
It's about frickin' time!
C-could it be? Could the trailer as foretold by the ancient prophets of a few months ago be drawing nigh?
I'm conflicted. I really am happy the trailer is coming out, but I'm not going to watch it so I can avoid any spoilers (like Burning Godzilla in KOTM).
LET ME IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!!!
About time, but I am still VERY exited!!!
I really want this.
Kong is gonna have to get past the death breath. (I think it has death breath?)
Now that you mention it...
Anyone else think that Kong is gonna crumple this thing's wings up like he did with the Pteranodon back in '33?
I liked Godzooky when I was a kid
I mean, they are vestigial-looking. But still, HOW?
@Gmkgoji Observe.

How does Godzooky have wings?
JurassicKaiju14
Perhaps something the juveniles of the species have but lose as they get older? Perhaps a mutation Godzilla didn't gain, but his hypothetical sibling and/or their mate did get and passed on to Godzooky? We can only really guess...
To be fair, they only mention Godzilla's his uncle once and it's never elaborated on again. Was probably just a figure of speech and there's no real relation between the two--Though it does beg the question where he came from.
As for Godzilla 2000, it was a lot more than just the design that set people off. (One person made a massive stink to note that Godzilla not retaliating against the military while being fired on was very un-Godzilla, and thus, GINO.) The entire project, the way it was received, especially in the aftermath of both Gamera and 1998, really blew the top off in the fandom--Shit show.
