Good luck man! Can't wait to see the finished result!
As above, I agree with TheLazyFish
Who am I? That is not an easy question to answer. For I have been many things, and shall be many more yet.
I teach you the consequences of your folly. And yet I will deliver you from your destruction to learn another day.
I remind you of your mistakes. And I give you a light into the future.
I have prayed for my death. And yet I fight for my life.
I have been a victim. I have been a tyrant.
I have been a hero. I have been a demon.
I have been a guardian of Earth. And I have been a destroyer of worlds.
I have been your deliverence from extinction and the bringer of your doom.
I am terrible and wondrous and all things between.
I have been many things. But though I may change, this one truth shall remain…
I. AM. KING.
Happy Birthday, Gojira. Here's to another 65 years.
I know, I know, I'm super late. But I didn't have an account back when this was put up, and I wanted to do something a little more than a simple "Happy Birthday".
My answer is the same as TheLazyFish's.
I... depends on how you look at this. If his kind aren't the nurturing type, then he MIGHT have had a child and had parents, but that also means they may have forced him out and he forced his child out, so that means it's purely a blood related family and not a human-like family. If they nurture each other, than Godzilla may still have had parents. Maybe Dagon is his mother or father or grandfather or something. But I don't think he ever would have had a kid, because he would still be around his mate and kid, unless they both died. I honestly doubt he has a kid, though. Parents maybe, but I think it's unlikely he has a kid, just for the fact that Legendary would have to explain why that kid isn't always around him and vice versa. He might eventually ADOPT another kid, though, or have a kid himself, but that wouldn't be for awhile, I think.
Ya guys already saw my Chad picture, I have other drawings I drew but I don't feel like finding them and taking pictures of them
and my camera is really fuzzy and bad
I think that the Legendary Godzilla is protecting an egg (when the Titanus Gojira species still exists) in the same place where he feeds on the radiation. But not only that he also has a symbiotic relationship with Mothra.
I'm a sucky drawer, I wish I could draw as good as any of the art on here lol
Wait aren't all lifeforms adaptable, I just hate when people are like Humans are an adaptable species because we like to sniff our farts because Humans are special because have a soul harharharharhar. I absolutely hate human self-centerness, there are plenty of other lifeforms that are more adaptable then a human like extremephiles.
I used to draw pretty goodish back in High School, I need to brush up on my drawing skills
Well, as long as we're showing off our art; this was a Godzilla redesign I did way back before 2014 came out. I kind of wanted to find a balance between more recent theropod reconstructions and his traditional upright stance.
I based the coloration off of a Jurassic Park III Velociraptor toy, in an effort to give him something a little more vibrant than the typical charcoal gray/black. I also had an idea that as he charges up his heat ray, the quills on his arms would glow blue as well.
"While nuclear power has made positive remarks by society in regards to emission material compared to non-renewable resources, the fact is that it is still dangerous."
Oh I agree completely, make no mistake about that. In fact, that assessment is actually strikingly similar to the vibe that I got out of the film's portrayal of the Titans.
But that's a conversation for another day. In the meantime, I'd like to take the time to thank you for, in spite of our disagreements, keeping things respectful and courteous. And I'd like to apologize if I might have come across as overly confrontational.

Then go right ahead!
Thanks everyone! It's probably the most tired piece of advice out there, but the key to drawing really is practice. I've been doodling and sketching for over a decade now, bouncing between plateauing and improving all the while. This was a project I really wanted to push myself with, trying things I hadn't before and putting more effort in than usual. Practice sounds boring, but honestly it's just doing what you enjoy a lot and honing your skills in areas you're weak. Can't draw faces or vehicles for beans? Look up some tutorials, grab some references, and just experiment for a while. You'll never get good if you don't try stuff, so go wild! You don't make any bad drawings, just the stepping stones to better ones.
Not wrong, but perhaps misinformed.
"Misinform: give (someone) false or inaccurate information"
So basically the same thing.
Yes there would be disastrous effects, but just because a scenario where (hypothetically speaking) humanity experiences tremendous or total loss of electricity does not mean there are not other methods to sustain themselves in their panic. Humanity is after all an adaptable species.
True, but it should also be taken into account what could have happened if the MUTOs had bred unchecked. I will agree that Humanity wouldn't necessarily go extinct, but life would definitely not be easy for us anymore.
How could I say what you are wrong about when the material you have proposed to discuss has not been published on Scified to be read?
Maybe I am being premature here. Let me put it to you this way; there was a big debate recently over whether the MonsterVerse was outright pro-nuclear. My personal view was that it's more a matter of how it's used. I'll explain my reasoning in a later post.
Finally, I will not deny that Toho does flesh out their messages more than the Hollywood movies have (although even they falter from time-to-time). That doesn't stop me from enjoying the MonsterVerse movies though; I like both the Toho and the MonsterVerse films for the most part. I value intelligent discussions of problems, and the simple joys of watching giant monsters that I've grown to love and cherish slugging it out with all the modern VFX we can get. When I speak of subjectivity, I'm talking more about personal preferences for which movies we enjoy.
Yes. Yes I do. As far as Godzilla games go, I prefer Godzilla Defense Force, and that game is just.... boring and repetitive as hell. But at least it never downright pissed me off as much. I am really happy that Godzilla games have gotten a lot better over time, though, like Godzilla Unleashed, Godzilla Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla 2015, etc.

OH GOD NO!!!! Please don't make another topic about MV Godzilla being pro-nuclear! We already had a week long argument about it! XD jk lol. What are your thoughts on MV Godzilla being pro-nuclear? I personally feel that if you really think about it, it's neutral-nuclear, like Godzilla 2014. Also, I think that because of that end line about how Godzilla is only on our side for now, we're going to see him do something "evil" to balance out the good he has done in GVK or in some other future movie. Just to reiterate he's a neutral force. Would be a pretty good way of balancing the nuclear-stance of MV Godzilla, in my opinion.
Dang, you hate those don't ya?
Oh yeah, and for the SNES too. They sucked pretty badly, in my opinion. Not that they were on old consoles or anything like that (love Original Zelda and Mario games), but they were pretty bad. The NES version was kind of like chess, but with Godzilla. The levels had no connection to the Godzilla films and were really annoying to get through. Time limits that you don't even get to see- it's just absolutely stupid. Then there's the SNES version where you take damage from BREAKING BUILDINGS and the fight system is incredibly boring. There's also another one, I forget if it was for the NES or SNES, but you basically fight as the humans. It's... eh? Not really good at all, essentially. Hard to explain.
Ok. Nintendo actually made a Godzilla game for the NES(Nintendo Home Entertainment system) in 1988!!
It would make sense, but they'd have to get the licensing.
Kong vs Donkey Kong
Godzilla vs Bowser
Nintendo knows its stuff when it comes to fighting games and they are a Japanese company, so I think there would be large potential.
If they get the licensing, yes.
I dunno, BUT that would be cool!
Or they add him to Smash! (Kidding, he'd be WAY too big)
Sorry there's no banner. It wouldn't let me post the topic unless I took down the banner, which was the Nintendo logo.
Dang. This was impressive to read.
Holy shit, your drawings are amazing!
I like the MUTOs, they remind me of Gigan crossed with a Xenomorph crossed with Clover
