maybe the people posting the scenes know the movies bad so they dont want anyone to see it. (disclaimer: I dont know if gvks gonna be bad)

I really liked the dazzling visuals in KoTM. I’d rather not have a grey filter on this film. Based on the trailer it’s gonna be toned more down than KOTM

I rewatched the film many times with the darkness. It is an issue and probably the biggest one. But for me it doesn’t really impact the viewing experience. I tend to make these problems seem bigger than they actually are, so not watching a movie based on someone else’s judgement isn’t very smart. I’m saying don’t say you can’t see, if you haven’t seen the movie

We don’t just live in an age of technology, we live in an age of internet crime. That’s why when I report the videos to YouTube, I say spam or misleading. It’s not the fact that’s what they are it’s to draw attention to them
The most disappointing thing for me is how WB will let these leaks stay up for days, even weeks sometimes, but will strike content creators who use 5 sec of unedited footage within the hour. >:(
Honestly, I do have to say Madison Russell in KOTM kinda faded into the background in the third act.
and about G'14, I would watch it if I could actually see it (you know what I mean).
Oh, ok.
But still, we can all agree that WW84 is a sour subject at this point.

A few things from it leaked pre-release, but there were also far less theaters open around the world in December.
Y'know... thinking back on it--As much as I love Elizabeth Olson as an actress and appreciate the nuance she gave Elle, the character really had nothing to do, but be a worry wart the entire film.
And as we all know, Wonder Woman 1984 was a disappointing mess.
What's funny is that WW84 never leaked online pre-release...

A lot of people just don't care. I've seen plenty say they're just going to watch the movie once someone rips the HD stream from HBOMax so they don't have to pay.
You have to consider the sign of the times.
Youtube algorithms and suggestions are much smarter than they were in 2014. And because so many countries are getting the movie before the US, it's easy for them to upload pirated scenes. It's going to get a lot worse once the movie starts streaming on HBOMax and pirates just rip the HD stream from there.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters had this problem as well, with people uploading pirated versions of King Ghidorah's emergence via phone cameras. It wasn't quite as widespread as stuff today, but understand people are very desperate for new movies and content in the COVID era. Godzilla vs. Kong is one of the only big new releases that has come out since December. It has a big, red target on it.
I think the burning Godzilla scenes were leaked in hd quality when KOTM came out in the US.
Godzilla 2014 did it smartly, they included scenes that weren't in the trailer and even some altered scenes. From the first trailer of Godzilla 2014, the dive into hell scene, in the trailer only Godzilla was present but in the actual movie both Godzilla and the MUTO were present.
Interesting. Why Gvk then? Is it because its popular to a more broader audience?

I can’t wait for it. I loved the first trailer when it dropped, and for the most part I’ve completely avoided seeing anything more since. Been a Kong and Godzilla fan for a very long time, and for me, the MonsterVerse has gotten better with each movie. Loved Skull Island and KOTM and I’m hoping I like this one at least as much. It looks to be a shitload of fun, which is what I want from these movies. Plus, I've waited since 1970 or so (when I first saw KK Vs G) to see these two go at it again!
I mean the stratagem against Shin Godzilla. It had well thought out defenses and phases
Oh yes Shin Godzilla, stuff full of Japanese bureaucracy and heavy focus on characters that would normally be background characters.

Sure that movie had ond the most realistic military responses. But when It comes to capturing the P.O.V. of the average person....
Mobile Suit Gundam is a multiverse anime franchise that began in the 1970's with the original Mobile Suit Gundam which it shares its collective universe with Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, among others form the Universal Century continuity.
Then you have the other continuities like Mobile Fight G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny (both are part of the Cosmic Era continuity), Turn A Gundam, etc.

Seems like a good time to revive this. I know what they SAY his height is.....but being PRESENTED as a different height is important. If he's only 355 feet tall....his head would still be 22 feet under water at the Golden Gate Bridge (377 ft deep). Couple that with the water to roadway height of 220' and you're looking at roughly 597 feet from bottom of water (which he is STANDING IN) to the bridge.......and that combined height still only comes up about waist high on him. If they listed the "official" height at 355 ft....this is a MASSIVE FX oversight/screw-up. He also walks to the bay and passes Four Embarcadero Center which is listed at 570 feet tall....and he's hunched over and the building still only comes to his shoulder....
The most realistic kaiju defense I’ve seen in a Godzilla movie is in Shin Godzilla.
Posting videos like that is not just spoiling the movie for others. It is a crime. People seem to think that Piracy on the internet isn’t a crime but it is.
It is, but people are abusing going to the movies. Warner Brothers is probably overwhelmed
My opinion is definitely in line with the general consensus that Joe Brody is the strongest character of G14 (perhaps of the entire Monsterverse), and my biggest disappointment with that film easily was the writers' decision to kill him off. In doing so, they also killed the heart of the film, which is why the second act is a bit harder to get through.
I mean sure, its nice to see a realistic response to kaiju attacks, but the realistic aprouch was just SO BORING. give us some shabaz in the human plotline like final wars did.
