Glad you liked it :D
This is actually very well put together. It made the hairs on my neck stand up!
Freeze the extended cut video at 1:45 when you see the general. If you look at the monitors behind him, you get clear looks at what is labeled Muto1 and Muto2 (well, clear on 2 and sort of on 1). If you advance it frame by frame you can see them in motion.
I want one! Are these on sale now?!?!
I'm honestly not a huge fan of 3D...But the IMAX sound is purely worth the extra money. You can't go back to a regular theater after it. I'm going to ask my manager to have a screening for Godzilla in IMAX without the 3D diagnostics on. We did that for 300: Rise. But I'll still see it in 3D. I dont mind, really.
I once had a godzilla dream, though its not about the new movie, it is quite an experience. The only thing I remember was that I was in a tunnel, resembled the tunnel from Godzilla 1998. I saw the tail of godzilla being dragged away by his might and suddenly I was in a abandoned building with random survivors and then I looked through the window and witnessed the aftermath. Far away, I see godzilla rising from the rubble, he roared and then the dream ends.
.
@Agressivekaiju45, your dream is quite amazing but if Godzilla took the baby, it's because he's the last of his kind and he suffers from loneliness so he wants a companion sometimes. It's just my theory.
please tell me when & where i can buy these products?
@Godkilla2000
creepy...
Speak of the devil guys, I slept on my way to school. And guess who I dreamt of?
I was in spanish class when all of the sudden GODZILLA... then I woke up
The only way to truly watch a Godzilla film...is to see it in Imax 3D and only in Imax 3D.
Wow. I sound like a guy no one wants to be around. I'm seeing it in Imax 3D because I think it will be more epic to see a BIG Godzilla on a BIGGER screen. If you can't do Imax, at least see it in 3D.
Side note: Have there been other Godzilla movies in Imax 3D? Or just Imax? Or just 3D?
Yeah...Nope. But then again, several Destoroyah crustacean combined into one Detoroyah Aggregate. I guess it's possible, but for this enemy type, I think it unlikely that Muto was once human. Looks more insect-like to me.
I had one about two weeks ago and it tied weirdly into my life. Ok so I was at my house watching tv and all of a sudden zombies Broke into my house I managed to kill one of them with a lamp but had to run because of the amount of zombies. I hid in my closet and heard a big skreaching sound. I opened the closet door and saw a huge hole in my wall and dead zombies all around. The hole was glowing like a fire had been lit but put out. So I walked up to the hole and peeked out just to see huge footsteps prints in the yard. I was curious and started to follow them. Except instead of getting in a car I got on a snow board with wheels on it that looked poorly made. Ok so i got to where th footsteps end to find godzilla in the middle of a field eating a barn. The only weird thing is that godzilla was purple like Barney. Any way all of a suddon my golden retriever dog ran at godzilla and bit his foot, that must have made him angrey so he shot him with his atomic breath killing him. I screamed in anger and ran at godzilla with a knife, then my dream ended. The crazy thing is that two days later my dog died we don't know how because no one was home when he died. So did godzilla kill my dog Toby?
No Godzilla, but the other night I dreamt that I was watching a Transformers movie w/ Chris Evans as Optimus Prime. That was weird.
haha disregard...^ I think it's a tree.
In the 12th picture, am I seeing things? What is in the window, it looks like an older version of G.? Cranston doesn't seem concerned about it though.
@AggressiveKaiju45- Your argument is sound, and yes it is true that one's greatest foe is themselves.
This isn't a traditional film
It wasn't so much of about godzilla himself. But instead it was A dream that I had interviewed Gareth and his ambitions for the movie. The answers he provided were so bloody believable. In the end I was all cheery I interviewed him. We went out to lunch after and talked about his career as a director.
It was amazing, and very dissapointing when I woke up realizing it wasn't true.
I had a Godzilla NIGHTMARE!!!! *DUN DUN DUN* It may sound unbelievable, but its true.
So basically, i was in the theater, buying a popcorn bag. However these popcorn bags where almost as tall as myself(Cant complain about that) and then i went into the theater to watch the movie. My buddy, whom im actually going to see this film with, was sitting waiting. And then the commercials started. AND THEY NEVER ENDED!
They just kept on and on for what felt like hours with commericals and trailers, heck at one point i thougth i was watching the climax to a really bad horror movie. I dont remember anyhting else, i think it just kinda ended like that.

I haven't seen even a HINT of this centipede monster in the new trailers!! What is it and why does it seem to not be in the film anymore??? This is NOT a muto ??
i have a couple of dreams about the movie, where i see commercials on tv, and then the commercial then says the movie is rated R, and then i wake up like "whew, only a dream" but i'm glad it's PG-13
I don't think I ever had a Godzilla dream. But when I was younger, after watching a Gamera movie where he fought Gyaos, I would sometimes have a Gyaos releated nightmare. I didn't get eaten, but I think I almost did once. I remember in one dream a Gyaos was swooping in on a woman with a baby. The woman was taken but the baby was left floating in the air. There was also a golden Gyaos in one of my dreams, I think the same one. It was kinda fat. Luckily I out grew my Gyaos nightmares and they didn't hppen often anyways. You people who have had Godzilla dreams are lucky.
I had one recently that I was watching the movie in the theater and for some reason I was the only one there. The movie wasn't even Godzilla, yet I had paid for the ticket and was in the same theater. It was a 90's style TV/movie. I have had others I just can't remember them now.
Haha that's nice.
Naw definetly won't be blue. Mainstream audiences won't really see blue as a convincing colour.
Now this is trippy.
I have had a dream concerning Godzilla, in which I was running across the Golden Gate Bridge thinking, "I hope all those movies were wrong about this bridge being destroyed!" until it was destroyed and I woke up.
It blows my mind that people are naming characters from a movie no one's even seen. Just going off maybe a total of 5 minutes of screentime and you're willing to say they blow every other human character from the 29 installments out? Really people???
As for me I've always liked Steve Martin from Godzilla King of the Monsters. He really felt like a median between the outside world and Japan for the movie. The way they shoehorned him in with all the characters from the Japanese movie was really entertaining watching him talk to people with their backs to the camera. Overall I really liked his character and it's 1 of the reasons I prefer King of The Monsters to Gojira.
Miki Saegusa. Okay I will admit overall she's not great. Her parts in Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Mothra(was she in this, if so I can't remember her doing anything) and Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 2 were pointless, but in the movies that she mattered she really stood out. Biollante, has a lot of characters and I could make a list featuring just them but seeing Mik,i a small girl, standing up to Godzilla to try to force him away even though she may have died for it took courage. Then they kind of did something weird where during the next 3 movies she developed a sympathy for him, which is odd since she was in charge of the G crusher in GvsMGII, but anyway it was nice to see some1 siding with Godzilla later on and as she watched Junior grow up is was pretty heartbreaking seeing her standing by him as he died. She's not the best but I definitely cared about her character the most of any.
If the movie becomes sucessful and they choose to have a sequel, I'd like them to remodel some of the old toho monsters. The reason so is because mainstream audiences won't be able to identify themselves with the monsters we know.
I'd like to think it's Kiryu. They say that the worst opponent you can face is yourself, and that is exactly what Kiryu is to Godzilla. Both come from an ancient race, and have a connection amongst themselves that set them apart from the normal branch of monsters.
@JintheDragon- I believe that the only reason King Kong proved to be so difficult to defeat simply because of heavy weight on the script by who ever owns Kong.
Pretty awesome.
Can somebody close this thread? My brain hurts!
Seriously though, looking forward to Godzilla! All the drama aside... because there has been a shit ton of it. The trailers alone show that this Godzilla movie is going to be amazing. I hope all the fanboys eat crow for the prior drama leading up to this film personally...

Gman.. don't dis on a weaker Ultraman episode man! :P haha
And it's true, there is only one Gigan around this site, and that is Instinct
speculating is fine. It's a "deep" idea ;) If the Mutos end up being someone close to one of the main characters I'd be pretty surprised. Your theory isn't a far fetched idea... we shall see I suppose
