I'm currently re-reading Godzilla Returns, but I believe 2000 is my favorite.

Yes I am having issues. This site has often been very slow for me. It only started being slow like 3 weeks ago. Before that I had no issues. I have double posted quite a few times due to the slow speed. I have also had another issue but I don't know if it has to do with the site or if it is just me doing something wrong. Whenever I try to post a picture, nothing pops up. There is just a black line where the picture is meant to be. I have asked different people how to post a picture and I am pretty sure I have done it correct but still the picture doesn't show. It could just be me not doing something right. Just thought I would add that in to my post.

There is a post credits scene. The shot opens with a city in ruins, Godzilla wading through the destruction in the distance. In the foreground, a figure emerges, silouetted by a waining sun, though it's obvious it's carrying a circular object. The figure surveys the damage before resting its gaze upon the distant monster. The shot switches to a close-up on a masked face, male with a defined jaw. His eyes narrow and calming says, "Avengers.... Assemble!"

Not sure if I would have come up with the amphibious reptilian look, but the size and power of my own kaiju would probably be similiar to Godzilla. 

On second thought, I don't think my design would have been any better. There is a reason why Godzilla's look has endured so long. It works. Don't change what is not broken.

Such an awesome picture of Godzilla, I can't wait to see the film!

OP, I often get error messages when submitting my posts. Irritating to say the least. 

That's noble and awesome of him to want this film to stand alone and be definitive. But it's almost nieve of him to think that this won't continue on to be the franchise that it is, and always has been, with numerous sequels and future monster battles. But only if it's successful. Please be successful!

I love the line up, too. You got guts even considering '98 in a Godzilla movie marathon. Me personally, I love that you're going to have it. It introduced me to the series and I haven't seen it in years!

@Godzilla 2014 Rules, now I understand what you are talking about. I didn't know what you meant because on that picture, I thought it was water. Ok. It was a concept, but I guess they changed it. If this scene is in the movie, then it will tell us Godzilla is a very ancient creature because the only times when their was alot of ice or snow that covered our planet were during the "Snowball Earth" event, "The Ice Age", "2nd Snowball Earth" and more.

Loading times sometimes slow to a near-dead crawl when I snoop around here sometimes, getting up to speed with the fandom, but there have been times I've had issues like the rest above (see G-Fan2000, MikeyNamez and Godzillasaurus Rex).

I thought that it was just my crap Netbook-laptop-tablet-thing (what the hell are those laptops with swiveling screens called) and my horrendously slow desktop, but seeing this, I believe there might be too much trying to load at once while navigating.

I guess everyone completely missed my previous post, because they're still making the same tired arguments that I already debunked over and over again. I'm going to reiterate my points and hope it's not invisible this time:

1.) Having gills does not make Godzilla more realistic. Respiration is a chemical reaction which converts food into a form of energy that the body can use, and requires oxygen as a catalyst. However, since Godzilla's stomach is a nuclear reactor that produces its own energy (or at least, he feeds on radiation instead of "food" in the traditional sense), he has no need for respiration, and therefore, no need for any method of taking in oxygen.

2.) Needing oxygen to survive is a huge weakness, since it would allow even a WWI-era military to kill him with simple toxic gas.

Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that the things on the new Godzilla's neck aren't gills- they could be vestigial organs (like the tiny stubs of hind legs whales have that are left over from their terrestrial ancestors), or the creators of the film could have overlooked the above points and given him this huge, glaring, pointless weakness anyways. Like Marvelgoji has been saying, we won't really know until the film is released or Gareth Edwards says something about it.

All great points.  I agree now though if Edwards is against post credit scenes we wont be seeing one.  I do remeber him stating that he wanted a definitive ending but im sure there will be some room for a sequal.  I just dont see legendary/WB closing the door that easily when they want this to be the next big franchise.

I feel ancient just watching how many movies have gone by. When April 17h starts, I am gonna watch all those movies.

A end/post credit scene will be interesting and good. The only problem is that it might not happen. The reason why I say this is because Gareth "rolls his eyes" when he watches an end credit scene of a movie. That said, he really doesn't care nor probably doesn't want to add and end credit scene. He also mentioned that he wants this movie to have a beggining and end. Could this lead up to Godzilla dying? We don't know

That's all cool and everything, but I would love it if the credits suddenly stop, then there's a scene of earth cracking or giant rocks crumbling, and one huge rock falls away revealing what looks like a strange area of giant organic spikes, then they suddly move and cause more of a landslide, and then the loud awesome roar of ANGILAS, then back to credits. Man, I'd bug out completely. 

I'll get an error when there's nothing wrong with my PC, site going doing when I have no router or internet problems.

@DANNYBLAZOR That scene from Godzilla vs King Ghidorah wasn't for comic relief. I can see why many found it funny, but if you think about it more deeply, you'll realize that it's actually quite an emotional moment.

As for the humor in Godzilla 2014, I'm going with what everyone else is saying: just a few scattered jokes that provide a much-needed break from all the seriousness but don't detract from the tone of the film, like the Nolan Batman trilogy.

OMFG!!! I will grant the key to the 7 Kingdoms of Westeros, and a chance to sit on the iron throne, to the warrior who finds a HD 1080p pic of this badass Godzilla image! Man..this movie is gonna be AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!!!!! 

Acording to Gareth Edwards, NO. He said(In an interview) that this movie is one full story. He also said he disliked how movies have end-credits scenes. So I wouldn't count on it. But who knows. Also, I like the idea that this Godzilla is within its own universe. 

Intermittently i will get an SQL Error saying the database is unavailable. Other than that slow loading is a constant regardless if im using a desktop, laptop, tablet or phone. I would assume this would happen when big reveals hit (trailers, images, etc.) but not on a monday morning at 8am when im looking from work.

I wish someone had thought to ask what was up with the title of the game.
