What's also interesting is the part where he talks about Godzilla noticing a change in "the earth's core" and coming out of the sea to restore balance. I'm not sure if hes just using this as a comparison or if its an actual plotline of the movie. Meh, who konws.
no, the tsunami was formed by godzilla moving through the water. He is waHat caused the tsunami. but that was a cool idea.
Something Real has a point, we can't be 100% sure. But honestly I think Shrinking Godzilla is a bit too...heisei series. With the direction this film is going, I don't think he would go that far since he's trying to keep the movie realistic. Like Kage432 said, The world is already accepting Godzilla in the world through a lot of effort. A shrinking Godzilla is just pushing it. I think the reasons for the spikes is simply just because of the angles we have seen Godzilla in since we are seeing them out of context for 3 seconds. That, or editing.
My favourite part is when Godzilla shows up at the airport and the MUTO roars at him and then Godzilla just looks at him and lets out an even bigger roar. That was awesome :)
Cool it Junkerde. You're treading the fine line of instigation. Attack the topic, not the individual.
As with the other topic, I need to close this down and ask that people not share any links or embed the leaked wondercon footage anymore on these forums, at request of Warner Bros.
> let's all keep this discussion civil
lol don't make me laugh! you reply with a very egotistical high horse comment, because THAT really showed how civil you were (sarcasm). You wanted our thoughts? more like you wanted everyone to agree with you, but seeing as how everyone disagreed you got upset didn't you? Yeah, nothing "civil" about your response at all, I'm not even sure you know what that means LOL! Um, what? Okay kage342, okay...
I can most easily imagine the Godzilla theme being implemented into this soundtrack similarly to how they did the Star Trek theme in the 2009 Star Trek film. You hear hints of it in certain tracks, with the bits and pieces of the theme becoming more and more obvious as the movie goes on, until the end credits play it full blast in its entirety. For Star Trek, I know that Michael Giacchino used this approach because he felt the reboot and its new cast had to "earn" the Star Trek theme over the course of the film, which is why I feel that Desplat might do something similar with the Godzilla theme.
@gtbetta35
Are any of the 10 am imax showings sold out? I wanted to go to the one on the 16th.
edit: i was thinking of the wrong game
I never played it, however I did watch Playthroughs. I think what draws people away from the game is that it's very repetitive.
saw this earlier. kind of wish he did do motion capture himself. would make the movie even better
He is a troll, he's pm'ed me and everything, I just let it go though. Sooner or later the mods will just figure out. meh. Hate to bring flamebait on here but, it's only the truth.
I swear, Godzilla2014Rules....you really must be the largest active troll on this site.
There's no way you do this on accident.
You realize that 75%-95% of ALL of your threads are either outright lockable, shameful repeats, or at least have very little thought/content put into them with bloated titles.
You'd have to TRY for those kinds of percentages...it wouldn't just naturally happen that way.
Like if we polled all the members on here, and told them to give us their next 10 ideas for a thread in 30 seconds....no thought, consideration, or time to check to see if it's a repeat, just ask everyone to spew out 10 thread ideas RIGHT NOW...how many do you think would have written 7-9 LOCKABLE threads right off the bat?
My guess is not very many. A handful, but not very many. And you aren't just spewing out threads in 30 seconds. You take several hours, if not days between your thread creation, and yet the what you come up with percentage wise, is WORSE than most people would have come up with if they had just done the 30 second thing.
I can't believe that's an accident. I just can't. If it is, that's just sad. You HAVE to be trolling? right? I mean c'mon!!!
In case you aren't trolling....yeah....PLEASE PUT MORE THOUGHT/RESEARCH INTO YOUR POSTS!!! You are by far the most serial offender of repeat/shallow topics, and I've grown tired of it.
Although this is sometimes true I don't see it really applying with Godzilla right now. I've seen maybe 5 tv spots total on actual TV and that's really it (outside of the internet). Aside from posters in the movie theater and some toys, I haven't seen any Godzilla advertisements out and about. There certaintly has been a lot of TV Spots, but a lot of them seem like they're being released early because they aren't in that superb HD like the lastest Nature TV Spot. There's less than a month left and I think advertisement for Godzilla is going good. It might seem like a lot to us but you have to remember majority of people aren't as in the know as we are. Heck, I showed my mom the leaked footage today and she didn't even know there was another monster in the movie lol
And duatok chill out it was just a question
yeah well godzillasaurus rex and duratok said it pretty much. i like the good spirit but there are multiple threads about this.
Thank you all for ypour thoughts but honestly? Angles, god, um...no. We already got shots of him from multiple angles and guess what? Smaller spines all around so I guess that just leaves the cgi being completely off or like one of you already suggested, he loses a little off the top to one of the Muto. I mean, I'm an artist and I know all about angles and perspectives, so no, that isn't it sorry. But hey, I think its funny that we're all okay with giant radioactive monsters running through cities but for some reason we all draw the line at said monsters decreasing in mass when their radiation levels decrease. Um, what? Okay guys, okay...
oh ok but it is offical it here to Godzilla
I don't think it's fair to say movies with big advertising are bad. There have been plenty of movies with big marketing campaigns that followed with being big successes. That's all that matters. There are great movies who don't do well in the box office and get a small fan following but never another chance to shine. Even if Godzilla is so-so as long as it's successful it will probably get a sequel and another chance to build the fan base more. Transformers movies have been by no means great but the fact the movies are successful and has grown the fanbase by vast amounts, and that's all that matters building a bigger fanbase.
Go search up "godzilla-movies.com soundtrack" and you'll find other threads about it.
Good point, never thought of it that way. BTW before people think I like Capt america cause of the avengers bandwagon, I was reading comic books YEARS before there were any movies. I'm no kid lol
@Godzilla 2014 Rules
Before creating a Discussion it's YOUR responsibility to find out the where so we aren't bogged down by repeat posts like this.
What got me thinking about this was Capt. America: Winter Soldier. Capt. america is my number one favorite favorite superhero. If I'm not talking about Godzilla, I'm talking about Capt. America. I went to see the new film; by far in my opinion the best superhero film. Tops all the Dark Knights and even the Avengers film. But when I thought about it, for it to be such a great movie I hardly saw advertising for it other than YouTube. Then I basically had a flashback of all the films I went to see with large advertising and bad they were.
ok where
you are right but i never thought of it like that good thinking
This has been posted before.
Mods, please close this thread.
I used that music for my fan-made trailer edit.
Sea otters, for example, are considered to be amphibious mammals, does it mean that it is amphibian?
Hmm, music reminds me of Jaws and a bit of the opening of Godzilla 1984 movie. The tempo builds up. Perhaps the track will play during opening credts?
Eso que emergio del oceano si era la cola de Godzilla, pero muy cerca del buque.
