But anyway, no, this is not a spoiler due to the fact that its a public tv spot over the internet, and also this is like what, 3 or 4 weeks ago since this spot was released? The only things that tend to be new news here are the ones that come out on the current day, not something released weeks ago.

I have an idea for it. It is an alternate version of King Kong instead of them bring him to new york they bring him into japan because he's the only one who can stop godzilla they use a serum to make kong big enough to fight godzilla (sound pretty corny but it is the only thing I can come up with) maybe this might happen or maybe not but I hope it will happen. Or else.

Hmmm, this is a hard one, but my pick is just that it would still fit to how the movie is like right now, so id probably choose megalon but highly redesigned

I always wished Toho just went crazy with the Dimension Tide weapon. Megaguirus and her kin clearly came from an alternate Earth where they exist. It would've been cool to expand on this idea and the Dimension Tide open up portals to multiple Earth's where the 54, Showa, Heisei and Godzilla 2000 Godzillas meet in the same universe as the vs. Megaguirus Godzilla.

It really does have a Michiru Oshima sort of vibe to it doesn't it? Assuming it's real anyway... Looking forward to this soundtrack more and more.

That MUTO looks Gigantic in the horizon in frame :22...!!! It's looks like it's headed north to the Nellis Range towards Area 51... hmmmm...!!!

It's not so much that they're inaccurate they're just lazily made.

If this is legit, Godzilla looks beautiful.

They're children's toys, of course they're going to be inaccurate to the film.

Have to say never would have thought of that, good theroy. That being said the vents or the gills or what ever the hell they are might also work both ways letting heat escape saftly and let water in to prevent godzilla from over heating.

I respect your view and you are entitled to it, but I don't think you back-up your arguments very well. Why is it "blind" to say the Godzilla vs series have done well? Godzilla 1985 was not a "vs" movie. The 98 movie failed because it was not a Godzilla movie. Sony never bothered to market Godzilla 2000 well but just dumped it onto the cinemas due to contractual requirement with Toho. In all those cases either the movie wasn't good or the studio behind it (Sony) didn't take the movie seriously and gave it an half-ass effort.

But here, we got a studio that care and understands Godzilla. We got a director with a real passion for Godzilla. Therefore it is premature to say Godzilla is only a one-shot deal. 

This is not Jaws. Legendary pictures have a relatively good track record. Seldom do they produce a sequel just for the sake of printing more $$$. They put real effort into making a decent one. So a sequel can work.

Well hopefully it can go above $60 million. We'll see. There could also be the possibility it can have a "long life" at the box office so even if a pariticular weekend of box office receipt may not do as good as anticipated, it can be compensated by decent returns from a strong box office run in the long-term. Although with the competition it is facing, that is going to be tough.

I actually find this more believable than gills. As most amphibious creatures dont have them. More like a nitrous purge in cars.

Well we will see what they are in the movie :) or we will know if we get a confirmation on what they are from gareth or an official source 

I personally feel the Godzilla 2014 toy line thus far has been uninspired at best. Except for the giant Godzilla toy by Jakks the toys have been rather plain and simply made. I'm glad that they are not a true representation of what we will get in the film. I have to believe we will get some more highly detailed toy figures and models after the film's release.

IMO this is probably the best track I've heard from the song. It sounds very much like something would be in a millenium Godzilla film.

Guys, you gotta remember, these toys are pretty small and were made pretty early. The Muto toys to come will have better detail and accurate coloration for sure.

It looks like this thread didn't pop up until recently.  I only just saw it.  I think there is a delay when posting threads sometimes.  Maybe it has to do with time zones?  I see posts pop up in between threads that have been there for hours all the time.

I also once thought of that theory, but I hope they're gills - for those that so hate the idea of godzilla having gills.

Really hope the CGI is as good as this image shows. Not long to go now.

Okay I'm probably going to make a few posts to follow this 1 up after work, but I figured I'd throw in why Godzilla from Final Wars had the weakest or stupidest monsters any Godzilla in the series did, thus why all his fights seemed insanely 1 sided

Gigan in antarctica- Gigan his him with grappling hooks then stood about 50 feet away waiting to reel him in as his saw spun, thus took a headshot and died. The Gigan from showa was always on Godzilla because well, all his weapons were melee. His saw, hooks ect. This 1 stood still and tried to pull him in, which wasn't working for the most part. He could have run up to him with the blade going but nope, stand still and wait. Think that explains why he's 1 of the stupider incarnations.

Zilla- Joke fight meant to take shots at the american 1 not really indicative of either monster's powers

Kumonga- Doesn't use the projectile stinger from the showa that did the most damage to Godzilla in their earlier fight. Just hops around and shoots a web with huge holes that doesnt stop godzilla's movement at all. 

Kamacuras-Did about the same as the showa

Rodan/Anguirus/King Ceasar- Without a doubt the weakest version of all 3 of these monsters by a long shot. Let's look at what they all do in this fight shall we?

Rodan- Flies around aimlessly till he gets knocked out of the air and koed instantly. That's right the Rodan that charged headfirst into Ghidorah in there first meeting and fell to the ground together just to get back up and keep fighting got koed in 1 hit. The Rodan who even when he was the smallest monster in the Heisei took multiple shots from Godzilla's atomic ray, and MechaG's plasma grenade point blank gets koed from getting hit by anguirus, not that he did anything in the fight anyway.

Anguirus- Doesn't fight he plays the ball for King Ceasar's and Godzilla's soccer match. Then get's koed by getting hit into a rock. Yep gets bounced around goes through buildings with no problem but a rock ends him. 

King Ceasar- played soccer then ran up to godzilla and got thrown on top of the other 2 and done. Didn't get hit with a beam, didnt't get punched or kicked jumped into Godzilla's arms got tossed on the other 2 and done. It's silly enough to be a joke, but that sad part is that it isn't.

Not going to talk about hedorah and ebirah, because literally blinking at the wrong time would cause you to miss that fight, and gigan comes back but fights mothra for the most part so nothing to address there

Monster x- Pretty much a draw for the most part, Godzilla might have had a slight upper hand but nothing worth noting.

Eventually I'll get to why Heisei godzilla is the stronger of the 2, burning godzilla in particular but first thought I'd give some perspective on the monsters he fought. Any1 who's average will look like a beast if you put him against some of the biggest joke fights in the fanchise.
