GYAAAAOOOOOOOONNNNNNN!
aahhh....memories...
and some of these ideas aren't half bad..should i still do them?
I added a video to the OP to help compare the different roars from across the eras.
I like how the monsterverse godzilla on the top right of the banner is like "my roar's lit, b***h.
But yeah, monsterverse is my fav.
I like the others too, though.
Welp, in English speaking places 'Shreeonk' is canon...so...I mean we can headcanon but that doesn't change the fact.
In Japan, yes, it's 'Gyaooon'
Godzilla's roar sounds nothing like SKREEE-ONK, Its more like Gyaooon
speaking of songs and godzilla roars...
In the middle of the song 'Outro' by Breaking Benjamin my brain can't unhear what sounds like a very faint, tiny snippet of a Godzilla roar around the 1:13-14 mark?
wait...listening to it again and i can't really hear it...my brain is playing tricks on me-
I find G's roars pretty good and I record such roars into Mp3 files and mix them into tracks. Interesting, isn't it at https://telefonzilsesleriindir.com/
It definitely is, I think the fourth demension specifically
The Archetype seems to be from another dimension. So I am going to guess Godzilla and the other kaiju are from this Archetype Dimension.
no
make her look like an actual roach
cuz Hissing roaches get a bad rap
Imagine a monsterverse version of her. Might as well make her look like the raid commercial roach.
Oh no I totally forgot about her why does she exist were you out of your minds Toho why does a cockroach have a human face
It censors C. Roach lol
uuuhh...what the heck is this book even
Godzilla becomes the Senate with his roach gf. Yes. Very nice.
@SquashaDash, that theory is weirdly similar to what I am writing and I didn’t even know what shinomura is. Also, we found another spam bot.
I definitely think it's pushing for the "fixed loop" theory of time, hence the message Yun is getting from the future. Kaiju definitely seem to be 4th dimensional beings in this continuity which explains their ability to see time and/or manipulate it.
I found a way to legally watch the show soo....
SPOILERS:
I'm actually gonna rant about Archetype and Godzilla being a singular point.
Archetype is weird. Not only is a strange material that can trap light without converting it to heat, but also refract it through time. THis itself creates a singular point, in which photons from the future and present are indistinguishable. The ability for Archetype to create these points is interesting and probably explains why Godzilla (a singular point) can manipulate it.
The Series seems to be toying with the idea that the future is fixed, and the ony reason it seems unpredictable is because we have no knowledge of it.
If time is not fixed the explanation for time prediction, via archetype and anguirus could be the other material that I forget the name of.
The show also offers an interesting view at what 4d life could look like. Because we are 3d beings, we are not ablw to see their fourth demension, Time. But the abilities of Anguirus, Archetype, and that godzilla is a singular point, where time is indistinguishable, suggests that they can be measured in time at all moments.
So I submit, Kaiju are 4d.
MAJOR SPOILERS:
It's now been suggested that Godzilla is a Singular Point. In the latest episode Yun posits that Singular Points do not come from our world. The closer Singular Points get to each other the more likely they are to offset a"prophesied" Catastrophe that leads to the end of the world.
This Catastrophe was seen by the scientist who discovered Archetype, via a "Super Calculator" used to decipher Archetype/Singular Points.
So it seems the kaiju do come from an alternate dimension, but how and why they got to our world is still a mystery.
Godzilla Awakening established that the bombings of Hiroshima woke a monster known as Shinomura. Godzilla sensing both the bomb and the Shinomura woke up and began patrolling the Pacific, hunting the Shinomura. Eventually the US government discovered Godzilla and the Shinomura after Godzilla had a run in with the USS Nautilus in 1954. The Government formed the organization of Monarch to study these monsters, believing them to be a threat (at least one of them was). After finding out that both Godzilla and the Shinomura were attracted to radiation, they decided to lure them to Bikini Atoll by using an atomic bomb, believing that the blast would kill both of them. When Godzilla and the Shinomura arrived in Bikini Atoll, the US detonated the bomb. The blast killed the Shinomura, however Godzilla was unharmed. With the threat of the Shinomura destroyed Godzilla returned to hibernation. Believing that they had killed Godzilla and not wanting to alert the general public, the US covered up the incident, stating that it was just another one of the nuclear tests that the government had been conducting for the past decade.

It's also worth mentioning that Japan gauges the success of films off attendance numbers over gross. So how many tickets are sold will be a larger indicator for its success.
7amey,
($25.8 million, but that's splitting hairs.)
The difference is film and television piracy is taken a lot more seriously in Japan. I have no doubt some risk it, but it's much more enforced and doesn't normally effect box office receipts. Take Godzilla (2014) for instance. It was released in Japan two months after the world wide release in May. But it still made $30.5 million.
The main thing I see hurting it is COVID and the capacity theaters are running. I think it'll be lucky if goes over $30 million, but might just barely hit below it.
Of course there's always the unlikely chance of a Demon Slayer effect, where Japanese audiences hungry to go back to theaters blow up the box office numbers. Given how fickle it is, Japan will be an interesting place to see how it does. I'll be following it very closely this July here.
Ohhhh man! God dang it. Well, I’ll be using my theory in my fanfic because Im almost done with the chapter where it matters and I don’t want to restart it.
Being a bit pessimistic, King of the Monsters grossed $25,400,000 in Japan. Considering the fact that a lot might have seen Godzilla vs Kong on their phones, I expect the box office numbers to be below $20M.
He was awakened by the USS Nautilus in 1954. This is explained in Godzilla(2014). The Castle Bravo bomb test was an effort to kill him. The mission was codenamed "Lucky Dragon".
Sorry about some of the mistypes there, my windows 8 laptop hates me as much as I hate it.
7amey,
I expect an over-under of $30M largely due to how expensive tickets for Hollywood movies are in Japan.

ok so guys i just found this out ^
Hovasaurus was a reptile from the Permian-Triassic that had a LOOONG tail. And, even better, it was aquatic!
So yeah animal tails can be....long.
I like it. It doesn't make much sense, sure, but Godzilla films never made sense, did they? A kaiju film universe like the Monsterverse shouldn't restrain itself to realism.
Let's hope it'll take the box office numbers to another level.
Sorry it took so long, but hope ya enjoy it like we did Japan.
