THAT IS JUST WRONG AND SCARY
I am re-engineering the shoulders so Kiryu can have both the suitmation option and the SHMA option (the shoulder armor will rotate and will not lift with the arm).
UPDATE 6/5/2022:
Early estimates for the 4th weekend, from Eiga Ranking News, put Shin Ultraman at an estimated 3.173 Billion Yen ($24.2 Million). I will be adjusting the charts to better reflect gross in "Yen" rather than US Dollars. The reason being the exchange rate has fallen to an all-time low. It has never been this low 20-21 years!
This best example of this is comparing Shin Ultraman's current gross to Godzilla: King of the Monsters' final gross. Godzilla: King of the Monsters ended its run at 2.84 Billion Yen, which was worth $25.8 Million in 2019. But Shin Ultraman has exceeded that gross by around 300 Million Yen. Regardless, at the moment 3.2 Billion Yen is only worth $24.2 Million--Less than the USD exchange that King of the Monsters raked in.
(The exchange rate doesn't really effect domestic Japanese films, but for Hollywood films this is a big issue. While Hollywood movies are little more popular this year, compared to the last few, the exchange rate is forcing them to make less money for overseas studios.)
Meanwhile, Shin Ultraman's estimated attendance is at 2.12 Million. This might be higher, since my estimates were a little low last weekend and this past Friday. (The later of which is according to Natalie.)
Either way, this means Shin Ultraman has surpassed the attendance of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla vs. Biollante. It should take out the last, and most successful Monsterverse movie in Japan, Godzilla (2014), tomorrow. Attack on Titan - Part 1 and GMK are in its scope.
Actuals will be released either Monday or Tuesday. Charts will be updated then as well.
Godzilla Vs. Batman would've worked so well in the Adam West show, RIP.
UPDATE 6/3/2022:
Heading into the 4th weekend Shin Ultraman (according to Eiga Ranking News) is at an estimated 2.94 Billion Yen ($22.5 Million) and has surpassed Godzilla: King of the Monsters' 9+ week attendance climb in just 3 weeks w/ an estimated 1.96M attendance. (Likely higher since Natalie reported 1.92 million in attendance yesterday.)
3 new movies open this weekend, including the latest Gundam anime. However, Shin Ultraman gets released in 4DX next weekend which is quite popular in Japan and should boost sales next weekend. The new 4DX poster was released yesterday:
Also of somewhat related interest, the theme song for Shin Ultraman, "M87", was reported to be #1 on Japan's Billboard, via Natalie. A music video was released in celebration of both the song and movie's success:
Box office will be a little slower in its 4th weekend, but it should surpass the 3 Billion Yen benchmark! Actuals after the weekend.
can you translate that page into English? I am afraid I can't read kanji or katakana nor hiragana
I am a decent cook, just give me a recipe and I can make it work as long as its not too complicated.

my name comes from an old video game, Alien Crush. Out of curiosity, can you access the LEGO link through your phone or other device that is not associated with your school?
I did submit an article, here, but I wanted to get it on the Godzilla section of the site, it seems to currently sit under 'editorials'.
I dont think I can cook.

1. thats a really weird name. but to be honest I dont really care about peoples names on this site.
2. your kiryu looks awsome, but I cannot support due to school amin settings blocking lego ideas.
3.go to Post article instead of post topic. though I think only high-rankers or admins can post on the front page.
How can I get this on the front news page for godzilla-movies.com?
I haven't played a godzilla game since Godzilla for the PS4
Godzilla Fan,
Let me ask you something. Since creating two accounts and trolling is pretty much an auto-ban, how do you feel I should handle this?
No rush.
ok.
.....
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa??!1!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!1/1?!??!?!?!?!?!
It certainly will be. I expect it to hit close to 3 million in attendance, which would be huge. Especially for a May release in Japan.
The barometer for successful Godzilla movies probably starts at GMK, (granted, this is usually depending on the decade) so if it starts surpassing that and Attack on Titan, Shin Ultraman is an unprecedented success and the most significant, studio win for Tsuburaya since they won their 20+ year legal battle with Sampote.
Shin ultraman is a success then
I hate godzilla isnt real
Its not for me. I got bored
But thru other godzilla communites, esp. discord, people seem really competitive
UPDATE 5/31/2022:
Actuals from the weekend have come in and it looks like everything about Shin Ultraman is just a smidge higher than the estimates had. Kogyotsushin reports Shin Ultraman was 2.712 Billion Yen, which isn't too off, and still translates to $21.2 Million USD and extra change. Though it finally fell from the #1 spot in its 3rd weekend thanks to a strong opening from Top Gun: Maverick, Shin Ultraman holds strong at #2 right now.
The attendance is where things get interesting. I had previously reported the weekend's estimated attendance at 1.77 Million, just barely missing Godzilla vs. Gigan. Turns out it blew past it. Kogyotsushin and World of KJ reports the total attendance by this past Sunday came to 1.81 million.
This takes out all of the 70s Godzilla flicks and positions it overtake Godzilla: King of the Monsters' final attendance before the weekend. (As of today, Tuesday, it sits at an estimated 1.87 million in attendance, but I won't update numbers until after the weekend again.)
Below are more accurate 3rd weekend comparisons. Charts have also been updated.
3rd Weekend Comparisons:
Shin Godzilla:
3.36 Billion Yen/$32.6 Million/>2.59M attendance
Shin Ultraman:
2.71 Billion Yen/$21.2 Million/1.81M attendance
Godzilla: King of the Monsters:
2.21 Billion Yen/$20.5 Million/1.51M attendance
Godzilla 2014:
2.05 Billion Yen/$20.1 Million/1.42M attendance
Godzilla vs. Kong:
1.40 Billion Yen/$12.9 Million/0.90M attendance
I also noticed I had been using old attendance charts that didn't include Godzilla vs. Kong. Those have been updated as well.
I played a little bit of it, but it wasn't really my type of game. Overall, I thought it was just okay. I'm really hoping we get a modern console/PC fighting game in the near future.
thanks for the tip HinikunaGoji

Yeah, 5 spam posts in a row and admitting you hate what the website represents isn't any admission of trolling guilt at all.
Off you go.
