I was never a big fan of the showa and heisei mechagodzillas much, but I feel with a really good plausible explanation(like with kiryu) it can work out pretty good.

Most Reviews seem positive so that’s a good sign.

I’ve never liked MechaG that much, it just feels I dunno just doesn’t work that well.

I know, I don’t think it’s a bad thing. As I said before, Japan and The USA have had tense relations. Even though the two countries have gotten along better in recent years, I don’t see it as Anti American. And The USA is is kind of like that. We seem to think that because we are so “powerful” we are the world and other countries are an afterthought. GvKGhido isn’t anti American in my opinion, it’s being patriotic to its own country. The US is just an afterthought.

Also The USA isn’t America. The Android thing was weird though.

I wasn't talking about Japan, I was talking about the anti-american, well more like anti-western vibe to Godzilla vs King Ghidorah. 

I mean the movie I felt was a mess. The Futurians go back to the year 1991 and tells Japan that Godzilla becomes a major threat to Earth. Okay, sure, Godzilla was kind of a dick in the previous two movies up until this point. Then they go back in time to the 1940's which is fine up until the godzillasaurus is given a bias towards which human faction it deems a threat. Then the americans are depicted as stupid and somehow having the power of seeing the future when it comes to dinosaur movies.

Then after the futurians move the godzillasaurus, the japanese futurian then goes and tells the modern japanese guy that Godzilla really didn't destroy humanity in the future that instead Japan grew to big and became a threat to western power and so a nuclear war was started for japan having a big economy. Okay that was very deceitful.

Then she releases the dorats on to the island after telling the truth. Flash forward to the future, King Ghidorah is responsible for 1954 and the Godzillasaurus somehow still becomes Godzilla but this time BIGGER!? WHAT?!

I kinda liked that Japan was patriotic plus the relationship between the two countries has never been perfect. I mean they’re the only country that has experienced nuclear warfare, and that’s because of us.

Its where they reintroduce King Ghidorah to the Heisei series and where Mecha-Ghidorah makes its first appearance

Eh, Godzilla 1998 has its ups and downs. To me its not the worst godzilla movie, I believe that should go to Godzilla vs King Ghidorah mainly because the time travel plot made no sense whatsoever, the futurians plan made no sense, I hated that freaky looking android dude.... and I hated the anti american vibe to it

And Kotm, And I was recommending Japanese movies.
