I wonder how many people are seeing GvK Right Now
Looks cool, also First comment
HinikunaGoji,
They definitely played with the volume in each instance. I know Anno initially wanted to convert each track to stereo. (Kinda like how the Beatles albums were done about 10 years ago.) But the process proved too difficult, so it seems like they just tinkered with the volume.
My design was better.
Though some of us may seem mean.... we don’t intend to tho
No spoilers...will see it later on HBO Max.
these are kinda lame
Always great to have new members. Don't worry everyone's nice here :)
I don’t know Why I don’t really like MechaGodzilla, and I have’nt figured out why yet
That’s true, What I meant is that out of MechaGodzilla I thought Showa was closer in aforementioned not smooth look.
I’ve listened to both the scores, and something seems different though, it’s best noticed in Godzilla Comes Ashore in both movies. It might be one is slightly louder or something. I knew the newer ones as the examples you providied I didn’t think we’re re orchestrated. But ones like the before mentioned Godzilla Comes Ashore and Battle in Outer Space have a slight difference from the original.
Showa Mecha Godzilla was still smooth with it's clean and sleek look. This Monsterverse Mecha-G is entirely the opposite.
Showa Mecha Godzilla...... only other design that is sharp and not smooth
The Hollywood Noises just blend together
Ah I love the red glow. And a bigger emphasis on being a "machine", less smooth parts and more rough robotic look.
Godzillatheking123,
I saw the movie Sunday night at a preview screening I was invited to. You're right, the soundtrack is improved largely because the sound effects drowned it out so I didn't have to hear it.
Godzillatheking123,
I don't care for the movie, this is true. But when top industry pundits with direct lines to the studios are calling it a flop 2 years later, I think what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
In any case, one can flip the argument. If you liked the movie, I can just as easily "detect" bias in wanting to believe it didn't flop. Bias comes in all forms.
are we sure if he'll have a breath weapon or his classic eye blasts? I would love to see the old chest lazer attack
Of course I wonder GMan, since you yourself don't like KOTM, I wonder if that influenced on how you see the success of failure of the movie. Sounds like bias creeping in there. Be honest.
I enjoyed KOTM as a film very much. So to each his own. As for the soundtrack...why not wait until you see it with the movie. Sometimes listening without the movie doesn't do it justice, you know.
HinikunaGoji,
"B motif" refers to which motif in his theme. For example, the first portion of his theme is referred to as the "A motif". (Here from 0:00 to 0:41.)
Also the Ifukube tracks heard in Shin Godzilla were not re-orchestrated. Sagisu and Anno just insisted on using stock Ifukube tracks from the original film, King Kong vs. Godzilla and Terror of MechaGodzilla. Other tracks were also used in the credits.
If you do that... ya sure I guess just do you.
@Gman does B Motif refer to the key this part of the song is in? Because after playing it on the piano, I think it’s either not B or minor (more likely.)
Also this is a little unrelated, in Shin Godzilla I noticed that the re used songs are not just the same tracks from 1954. The written music is still the same it was just re recorded. So your point about Ifukube’s music not needing heavy drums still holds up. Even in today’s modern music
I say modern, because I’ve already ranted about the classification of music
Oh dang it I got excited.
HinikunaGoji,
No, the first episode was released early on Japan's Netflix.
@Gman
Is SG point out on yet?
Unfortunately, yes. It seems to be so. Cleaning of the environment must start from the house cleaning. Of our personal one. But if I have tried a couple of different variants in my house. Only this one worked. And only in such a process. So if you need to get the clean way here, it is better to start with these guys help and enjoy your favorite film while they are doing the work they are the best in.
I like the following elements from the mentioned cinema. And I like big animals!
I usually like movies to sit a little while before I give an honest opinion about them. Especially movies in franchises I'm as close to as Godzilla. I'll probably have a more informed opinion on the subject in a a week or two.
Same goes for Singular Point, of which I've seen the first episode for. But that's going to be a little different since it's a series.
I'll be seeing it again tomorrow, which will be good, because I feel like I missed the explanation for some key things.
They need a PS5/Xbox Series X/Nintendo Switch game involving the MonsterVerse.
And Legendary had a Godzilla 2014 game, but it fell out of the spotlight pretty quickly...
they seem pretty good but I think that legendary should make a game as well so legendary godzilla can have a taste of the action
