One prob I have with ratings is that it sounds like the GvK human story isn’t much better that KOtM but gets better reviews. Oh well... Tomatometer ruined movie reviewing a long while ago

The novelization did (kinda) make it better

She didn’t come off as crazy or insane to me. It was more desperation for me. It felt conscious. She knew that what she was doing was going to hurt people and spent the entire movie pushing down her feelings. Madison had gained some of these ideals but didn’t realize what would happen. She had ideas that people would die (shown in the clip where they walk into Monarch Outpost 32) but didn’t know how horrible it was when it actually happened. So I don’t think that redemption was the worst choice for Emma. Being lonely and desperate for some closure of some kind, made her do these choices which to her seemed noble, but in reality are selfish choices. Madison made her realize this and she was able to come out of herself.

Im not going to continue to try and convince you the human story wasn’t the worst thing ever.

Yeah, I thought about that when I was typing it, but due to generating huge winds and a tropical storm, he seemed like more of Air.

So, they could've negotiated with Toho to coexist during 2020.

I feel like WB had no idea how to make Emma's arc work.

I also felt like that with Madison in GVK, I think they just kept Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler in the franchise so they could attract more viewers because Madison was the best (new) human character in KOTM.

Singular Point already has me hooked and I need episode 2. At the start I was definitely a little confused but overtime it all started to come to light (well not entirely as that's the point of the show I feel). The art style is so satisfying to look at and the way Studio Orange integrated the 3D into that art style is just awesome as hell.

I want to see how they ramp up the impending kaiju cataclysm and how these characters individually react and do something about the situations they're thrown into. I'm actually excited.

I've read that the rights that Warner Bros and/or Legendary had to Godzilla were to expire in 2020 after the release of GvK, but like every other major film company, they had to push the film back.

In all honesty the woman having her crazed ideals should've stayed that way. I feel like whether or not she was a villain shouldn't even be a debate because what her actions were villainous even if she didn't see it that way. I actually liked that aspect of her and I feel those ideals should've blinded her love for her daughter to the very end. That way we, as an audience, can progress through the film while watching her descend into this madness that she cant see herself.

True. Also, speaking of Fire, I was thinking that, because of when Avatar was everywhere on Ticktock, each of the Titans could be tied to each of the places in it. Like for the Fire Nation, Rodan could be a guardian for them, Earth Kingdom would have Kong, Behemoth, Methuselah and Scylla, Air Nomads would have Ghidorah and Mothra and the Water Tribe would have Godzilla.

I agree the story is lame as hell for KOTM.

But I like Skull Island and GVK better than KOTM, but frankly that's because I favor Kong more.

I saw Detective Pikachu and there was a scene in it where the huge Torterras move and they looked liked Methuselah

I still haven't seen GvK yet, but I'm gonna watch it on HBOMax tomorrow for my birthday.

1. KOTM (Story was lame as hell, but the Titans breaking free was bad$%&

2. Skull Island (Because I have just a great time watching the fights)

3. Godzilla ( Only decent scene was when Godzilla is fully revealed and it switches to the news channel showing the fight)

Still need to watch GvK.

Now that GVK is out, Godzilla totally beats all of them, no contest.

But Kong would kill Scylla.

Anyway is Singular Point is not really about action I’m fine with it. I enjoyed the Godzilla Earth Series. Action doesn’t always need to be forefront
