If by some miracle, legendary see this topic with the Pangea and how you make it possible for a titan to manipulate tectonic plates. I wish they incorporate Zilla and jaegers to make humans a little more relevant. What do you think about that
I mean the tactics used to get directors cut, are being employed by fans who are hoping for more monsterverse.

Maybe. But Wingard even said there's no director's cut he wants to do. Whereas Snyder had his entire movie changed without him being involved. I don't think we'll get any sort of director's cut out of this.

That comment comparing the two movies pretty much proves my above point.
King Kong vs. Godzilla is so smart it just goes over people's heads. Godzilla vs. Kong is just dumb and not trying to be anything more. Which is fine, at least it knew what it was doing.

Great info @Hinikunagoji I mean it could add up to the story. Muto Prime last appeared fighting Dagon, after there's no trace of him. Could be in hollow earth and for the earthquakes the technology in the monsterverse is super advanced and can be prepared for it. But this option is better think of the pangea event like the snap of thanos.

Random Fact: Only certain types of faults create tsunamis. (Earthquakes are not the only cause.) The fault in question is called a subduction zone. The west coast of the US has one called Cascadia. This Subduction Zone has the potential to unleash a 9.0 Magnitude Earthquake. These are the same as the 2004 Indian Ocean one and 2011 Japanese Earthquakes which changed the axis of the earth! While Japan was prepared for the earthquake, The US is not. And Japan was super undprepared for the tsunami, think about how unprepared the Us is
King Kong vs Godzilla was dumber than GVK mark my words.

And Zack Snyder's Justice League was an amazing movie.
You guys are right, but I disagree on the last movie for godzilla. I mean if they renew the contract with toho that means they're gonna go all out and the main pieces are Godzilla and Kong. Now for the pangea, I still think it could be possible I mean the hollow earth exist, then there could be a kaiju that can manipulate the tectonic plates or the humans while exploring the hollow earth could trigger it to happen. Still, it is very unlikely that it happens but would be interesting, to say the least. For Kong, if they planned to continue the monsterverse they have to do some serious upgrade on him if he want to go toe to toe with destroyah, Spacegodzilla or mechaghidora

I see ur point but I disagree. Unlike Apex, they understood the balance the Goji brings. And based on the history of humans we’re not good at balancing things. Most of the times when we try to fix something we did wrong we make it worse.

Fans of Monsterverse are using a lot of the same tactics that fans of DC used to get the Sydner cut.

Also Kong is a primate, primates were not around during Pangea's creation (Late Carboniferous period) nor its break up (Early Jurassic).

In a sense, yes. Honda knew the original King Kong vs. Godzilla was only being made because of it's marquee value. He knew the idea was stupid, so he decided to satirize its commercialism through the "prism of television marketing". (Which was a hot topic in Japan at the time.) The characters reflected both the greed and absurdity through a movie that was intentionally comedic.
King Kong vs. Godzilla was a smart movie--In fact it's so smart it goes over a lot of people's heads today. Godzilla vs. Kong doesn't have anything meaningful to say like that. It's just in for the dumb fun. At least it knows it's dumb fun though.
Let’s be honest, Team Godzilla was just stupid. Why are they mad that Apex is making a Mecha Titan? Titans are animals and just because Godzilla saved the world doesn’t mean he cares about humans are won’t they to attack them. Hell even Kong doesn’t entirely care. He only cares about Jia and would have destroyed Monarch if she wasn’t there. Honestly Apex was absolutely right to build the mech because humans are defenseless and the military is useless. Team Godzilla was so mad for no real reason. Only thing Apex did wrong was use the Skull of Ghidora which somehow possessed Mecha G.
It gave the fans what they wanted. Could have done better on the story, but how do you make a giant Gorilla and glowing lizard make sense? Even Toho gave up and just went for fun.
They should have done that beforehand Panell is what I wanted. They are not going to make another GvK in the monsterverse and if anything it will be one final Godzilla movie I’m betting. There are rumors of a skull Island show, but I don’t think we will see Kong fight big monsters in it. I think they are just done with Kong after this.
And do you mean the creation of the super continent? I don’t think it will happen as that isn’t something that just happens at random. Not even a titan could cause the continents to collide.

I feel like if they can keep the monsterverse alive, they need to give some type of improvement to Kong. Whether it is grew bigger, stronger or whatever the case may be. That way he's truly a titan that can figth against godzilla level monsters by himself without much help from the humans. Or go in a crazy direction with Kong having a son, that grows bigger than the father because he was born and raised in hollow earth where the he's exposed from radiation everyday. Making his more strong, bigger, more savage and get the crown of King Kong. Also do you think the event of pangea happening on the monsterverse would be awesome?

Once again they delivered what most people wanted, mind numbing monster brawling. Humans characters only point was to transition to where they would fight next. As well as giving us plenty of amazing shots in the movie. CGI was outstanding.
Ya movie was awesome and fans are letting be known that we need the monsterverse to continue. Although it's kinda scary how much more powerful Godzilla has gotten from the each movie. Maybe this time he'll blast completely through the planet.
I think both he and Benicio Del Toro may have been considered for/offered the role, but both declined. Khan will always/only be Ricardo though.

Yes, Ren was kind of lost in the movie. I had to explain to my spouse who he was supposed to be.
That said, the Julian Dennison character added nothing to the story.
Demian Bichir (Walter Simmons) did a great Ricardo Montalban impression. He should have been cast as Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness.
Hopefully they revive Ren Serizawa in the next movie or at least have a novel or prequel movie or a game to flesh his character out
Yes but for character Development isn’t the only thing that makes a good movie. Sydner Cut just doesn’t have as many positives as GVK for me
GVK has incomplete Character Development, not none at all.
Snyder Cut has character development.

Thats where I disagree.
GvK was better than Sydney cut. Many shots in the Sydner cut felt longer than needed extending two seconds longer. While GVK has less character arcs, i think it’s still better.
