If you type in nuclear it gives you long and lad coordinates to somewhere in japan
The roar scared the shit out of me when I first heard it, which means it's doing its job. I think its fine, though maybe a bit too high pitched.
Gareth is taking this into a more serious approach like the original movie rather than have it be campy like every godzilla sequel ever made. Even though I like the campy movies, I want to see something different. I don't want to see the same movies Japan already made. If you want to watch something light-hearted, watch Pacific Rim and it's developing sequel.
A Gojira2 what was you going too say?
Well, when you think about it, Godzilla has always towered over the buildings. So, I would think in todays modern age of skyscrapers Godzilla would have to adjust and remain a towering figure in the skyline.
I have zero problems with what I have seen - so far. Far happier than I was with the "Broderick affair".
I love it. I think it'll be perfect for this particular film. It's eerie, just like the footage. I can not wait.
Godzilla vs desotroyah just has that: Hows I going mother fuckers? Look to it.
I fink its a mouth, like an alligator mouth, but at the same time, its not.

Read the description, he's probably right on that
Finally, the website works. I absolutely LOVED the trailer. I love that it started with a long and intense shot. It's actually a long take for a trailer opening, but the risk comes with reward as that silluoute is the perfect introduction to the size and power of this Godzilla. Character reaction shots were rather redundant but 'amazed' and 'terrified' can only be done so many ways and surely is more prominent than any other reaction. Devestation looks intense,
and
oh yes
SKREEONK! The roar is superb.
I then watched the trailer to Ikifube's score. Gave me goosebumps. The King of the Monsters has returned.
BINGO! american that was the building that the soldier saw i saw the teaser again and that is the right building. I hope your right about Godzilla being 779 feet tall. if Godzilla is 779 feet tall then the new Godzilla will be more bigger then the last Godzilla,s and the 1998 godzilla doesn,t count
Loved it!
I was looking at the trailer myself to answer that question. At 1:14 or 1:15 minutes we see strange building top, which looks to around the same height as the American Godzilla. Again this Godzilla isn't right next to this building the viewer is falling towards, but the size seems to be around as massive as this building.
The building is 555 California Street building
This building is 779' (237.4 Meters) tall! If I'm right about my estimation, then the American Godzilla is around 779' tall!
Anyone else notice the strange claw/mouth that's ripping apart the train. I wonder if that is the MUTO creature. Brilliant trailer. Can't wait to see this!
We finally got our trailer and the movie is only 156 days away... what do we do in the mean time???? BUY THE UPCOMING MERCHANDISE!!!!! >:DD
I like it a lot. towards the end it kind of reminds me of a whale which I think is ok since he's semi-aquatic.
Honestly, I love it becuase I picture hearing it in a real life moment if Godzilla existed. Assuming that it would be so loud I couldn't hear myslef think, and it sounds very animal like, I would just lose hope for life.
Did anyone else see the scene where MUTO employees open a vault that should have held a monster, but instead there was a hole dug in the ceiling by the escaped monster? I'm pretty sure that the people who are running away in the scene after the paratroopers segment are running from the escaped MUTO-made monster. Bryan is running the opposite way, towards the monster. When the door closes, I think the terrified woman is sealed in quarantine with the escaped monster.
That's just my interpretation, though. If that's true, this will be a dark movie, much like a kaiju film should be. Even if it isn't as good as the trailer lets on (it's a great trailer), let's be honest, the movie is gonna kick some major ass. I can't wait!
It sounds great, but to me it sounds wounded.
It looks awesome. Now I have to wait 156 days to the movie. I agree @JETJAG I watched it over and over again.
Godzilla Ultimate Deroyer
This is like Godzilla OperationVengence but with none of the same story
you play as one of the monsters and you start out with godzilla 2014 and you emerge in a country with no one around a your mission is to destroy cities and fight other monsters. The way you get around is to walk and find what your lookin 4 and destroy lia boss. Depending what monster you are determines what you do like if your Godzilla you can swim in the ocean at great depths and destroy cities easy but you travel slow on land. But rodan travels in the air fast but is weak. The way you unlock monsters is either winning a fight with one or helping one destroy a city and it will be happy with you and won't fight you.Their could also be a cool thing where time passes and cities will advance the longer they are alive and will rebuild and your monster can go to a specific location or 2 to rest for a certain amount of years to let cities rebuild but some cities will try to make mechas to fight you(this also is a way to unlock mechas for a fun time destroying monsters. The monsters will be all the ones from godzilla unleashed and some from 2014 but it might help to wait 4 a few movies to come out for newer skins for monsters and new monsters. There should also be a way to target damage points like the leg or eye or the wires on mechas. This is my idea.
well, the tallest, I'm not sure about the heaviest, incarnation of Godzilla was actually marvel comics incarnation of Godzilla. it measured 150 meters(498 feet) tall. Gareth said this will be the biggest Godzilla so far, comparing the difference to adding an antennae on a skyscraper. because of this I don't think he will be any more than 20% taller than marvels Godzilla. this gives a range of about 150-180meters(597feet). at l80 meters Godzilla would still be able to hide behind a good number of buildings. this size is also desirable because it would make him a similar height to slattern(pacific rim cat.5) and noticeably more massive. I also think that the concept art with the aircraft carrier points to a size like this as does the size of the soldiers compared to his head in the trailer. personally, I would like a Godzilla of this size, buildings are always getting bigger, weapons are always getting more powerful, and so should Godzilla.
The spines on Godzilla looks for bigger! thn the last poster
I like it, Awesome I watch the trailer again and again :)
im really not worried about the film at all. im sure there will be enough of godzilla to please even the pickiest of g-fans
the roar is interesting, it definitely sounds like Godzilla, but its different, less mechanical. it sounds more like an actual animal, personally I hope he has some deeper sounding roars in the movie. it would make him seem a bit more menacing.
i like the new roar. its scary and fits him perfectly
I just typed in "DOOR OPEN" out of curiosity and the response was
Finally i typed in "CLOVERFIELD" as a joke and it said "FOLDER LOCKED BY MONARCH."
Pretty fun looking for info on this site. :)
Personally I can't make heads or tails of what's going on in that scene.
I do know a few details though after watching the vid on my Quicktime 7 player frame by frame, and you can just barely glimpse a shopping cart sized flap of pinkish flesh in the opening where the train was opened up. It's so brief you almost don't notice it, but if it is Godzilla's head then I can see that being the skin in the corner of his mouth, though it seems a little small for Godzilla if he really is as large as the rest of the trailer makes him out to be. Another possibility is that it was one of the Muto creatures biting down on the train, as we know they will be big SOB's even if they can't compete with the Big-G himself.
About the only other thing I know after examining that scene that closely was that the train was outdoors, not in a subway. Whatever was happening to that train was happening on an outdoors track at night. Why? Because you can see building lights in the background and there are pillars holding up the track.
So, even after a critical examination I don't know what to tell you other than it was an outdoor train track and whatever was tearing it apart seemed pretty big but not big enough to be Godzilla. We won't know for sure what it is that's doing the poor train in until the movie itself comes out, but at least I hope I've provided a bit of peace of mind about the issue.
I thought the trailer looked stunning & felt very creepy! The soundtrack reminded me of Gerry Goldsmith's atmospheric Alien score.
As for the King of Monsters himself.......WOW, I'm impressed!
whata y'all think fool's it's godzilla in the live fleash i'mean how can top this i'mean shoot the went to 2005-2014 toho sure throws a hard bargain
My reaction: Impressed at the budget, but I was (even though I expected it) disappointed that they still choose CGI for the creature effects. Japan went more than 50 years making Godzilla movies with suits, all the way up until 2004 and it looked fantastic. However when the US get hold of it they have to use CG and we ended up getting that monstrosity of a 'remake' in 1998. Seriously I think that Hollywood should maybe reconsider the visual effects side when it comes to making movies. Plus we haven't even got a good look at the beast yet, who knows it could look absolutely terrible. This is just my opinion though and I will support it all the way.
what do y'all think fool's this is so awesome i'mean it's godzilla in the liveing flesh dudes imean no budy can top this i wish they made it sooner i'mean toho throw's a hard bargain
There is so much more to this than we will ever know
LOL whata y'all think fool's this is awesome i'mean god how can any budy top this godzilla in the liveing flesh i'mean they went to 2005-2014 toho throw's a hard bargain
Godzilla, because is the first time we will see a realistic godzilla no a fake CGI like 98´s Zilla nor a guy with a suit kicking boxes, a Godzilla who looks real, and there are a lot of films about Spiderman, and its a sequel, so we know what are we see, in Godzilla we dont know anything, so I am more eager for Godzilla than Spiderman 2; buuut, after watching other super hero movies, I think that Spiderman will win in box office, but it will be not better than godzilla because we have just a few giant monsters movies, Cloverfield, Pacific Rim, King Kong, Jurassic Park, and they all are diferent, in contrast, we have thousands of super heros movies, and they all are the same.
