Also, I just improved the contrast of the image above - you can clearly see Godzilla and what looks to be a red flare... BUT I'm still unsure this is from an official promotion. A source link would be great either by PM or by a reply...

Anyways, here's my re-render of the image above:

My first impression was "WOOW, A GIANT DINOSAUR THAT CAN BREATHE FIRE AND DESTROYS BULDINGS AND CITIES!!!". I thought it was amazing and I had never seen anything so awesome before.

That is a good idea. It will be like all the superheros getting there own movie and at the end put them all together in one or two big movies.

I didn't notice the change and I don't mind and I like the ears because it makes Godzilla more unique.

Maybe instead of a trailer showing Godzilla using his atomic breath they should show him from behind and have his spines light up for a few seconds. Just so it wouldn't spoil to much, but it'd still have 'Oh Snap' feel to it.

I think it should be bit like the King Kong game they made for the movie(latest one I mean). Have a story mode in which certain times your the human focusing on surviving and then on certain times your Godzilla fighting other monsters, and add it all in one game. Also in the game include some the classic monsters but with a modern look. Also a fighting mode for godzilla as y'all have said and a survival mode for the human, in which you survive waves of mutos and occasionally godzilla. Sorry if grammar not right doing this on phone.

So? That point is completely out of context. I doubt Megaguirus and Orga are half as strong as the monsters the Heisei Godzilla took on.

Throughout the entire Showa series, save for the first two movies (Gojira and Godzilla Raids Again), Godzilla had no ears at all.

It's not that strange that this one doesn't appear to have any ears.

Dude G2K only had 2 movies and it took him like 10 minutes to take down megagirus and 6 to take down orga

Godzilla 2000's heat ray is no more powerful than the Heisei Godzilla's blue heat ray. It's the same weapon, just a different color.

I'm going to have to go with the Heisei Godzilla on this one. The Death Ray and size would pummel Godzilla 2000. And I'm not sure Godzilla 2000's nuclear pulse is more powerful than the Heisei Godzilla's, but he sure does use it a whole lot less than Heisei.

I have see all the Godzilla mobvies, I like the Millenium Godzilla the most, and it does has ears, too. Remember, Godzilla is not a dinosaur or a reptile. It is an unique creature, and has some catlike and bearlike features.

I think it might be to late for King Ghidorah to do a solo role, but I believe it should of been done a long time ago, since Mothra also had her own role in a movie. Maybe a Japanese version on DVD could be made, but not anything huge.

Godzilla is a risky endevour for them. The marketing ploy they are doing is really common in advertising when they are unsure about a product.

You wait to reveal info about it until way late in the game so the hype doesn't simmer down near release. I personally hate it-- because I think its impossible to predict what is going to do well and what isn't in this day in age.

I personally can't stand that marketing style-- I'd much rather have an idea of what I'm getting into. I'm not like normal people, I don't like surprises. I don't like sitting in the theater and having something come out of left field and just annoy the hell out of me when I watch the movie. I like knowing something disappointing before I see the movie so I can get done with those emotions so they won't interupt the film experience when I'm watching it.

In other words, I like to make my peace with something sucking instead of being blind sided by it. I could just imagine how much more pissed I would have been at the end of Spiderman 3 if I had no idea how bad it was going to suck before watching it.

@ GOJI14 I agree Godzilla 2000 was just a freak of nature, IMO he will kick anybodies ass in a heart beat.

The Marketing started of great at 1st, but I agree it has slowed down.

I kind of like lack of information. The world has gone mad with spoilers. Watch the Captain America 2 trailer. You almost don't have to watch the movie anymore. They show SO much. I like to know as little as possible about a movie before watching it.

Man, I love that Megalon design. He has to be one of the most underrated enemies of Godzilla. This is a great job.
