I'm gonna see the movie so many times they'll have to name the film an official addictive drug after I'm done with it. I for sure want to see it opening night, in IMAX; no 3D though, forget that nonsense.

I am watching it in 2D first and if I really like it, I will watch it again in 3D :)

And what do you mean Call of duty is crazy? Me, Godzilla, Godzilla's other personality, and king gidorah played COD Black Ops 2 zombies last night! 

yes, i recognized it. the reason they did that was because the score wasn't finished yet, but i'm sure that by now they have enough to use their own music for the next trailer :)

The reason we are fighting (well at least me) is because there are so many people telling lies around the web. I don't think anybody feels good once they have found out that they have been betrayed, or made a fool out of themselves for believing such stupid rumors and stories. But in the end we are a community. There will be times were we as G fans disagree with one enother. There will be times when fellow G fans lie and betray other G fans. There will be times when someone wants to form an army to fight certain people for specific reasons. But hey, thats how the world works. Its what we do. We all have this sense of war in our heads. So the fighting will not stop unless you fight back. You cannot negotiate with liars and traitors. You got to learn to rise up and fight for what you care about. I fight to keep G fans from being taken advantaged of those liars out there. I also fight because of the number one monster that I love the most, the king of monsters who appeared in 1954, his name is GODZILLA!.

@GOJIRA_2014 LOL Mr. Gigan. I like that. But I honestly don't know how I can NOT prove it to you. Slash said it on his official Twitter (to which I provided the link for down to the specific tweet) and Max Borenstein (one of the official writers of Godzilla 2014) retweeted it. In fact, I never would've known about this unless Max Borenstein retweeted it. I mean, do I have to get Slash himself to come down and tell you? Not trying to sound insulting or anything but, like...really?

Weird. Not someone I would've expected to be invited to an early screening, but okay. It comes off a bit like a farce though.

In any case it's nice to hear he liked it-- I guess. I'm not sure what kind of movies he approves of or what his cinematic tastes are, but if he's a happy Godzilla fan I guess that's good.

I wonder how much of the film has been completed. They probably only had temp music in it as it was confirmed that Desplat just recently started recording the score.

That said, I highly doubt he has anything to do with the soundtrack. At all.

Big Mac: I know, I was being facetious. :) I wouldn't expect him to leak anything.  They trusted him enough to show him the film early, so I would hope he wouldn't betray the trust of Legendary and start spilling the beans.  I'm pretty sure you have to sign something stating that you won't talk afterwords anyway.

@GTBETTA35 I understand, but Slash is a major Godzilla fan; from what I hear he named one of his guitars Godzilla. So hearing this from a true Godzilla fan is great to hear!

All I've heard so far from people who've seen early cuts of the film was that it was "friggin awesome" and "favorite movie of 2014". That's really not what I want to hear. It almost seems forced.

I'm planning on moving into my theater for the duration of Godzilla's time in cinemas.  I'll see it every day as many times as they show it.  I'll sleep in the kid's party room, eat popcorn and M&M's every day, and... well, the rest I'll figure out when the time comes! :)

My theater is currently unaware of my pans, but I'm sure they'll be down with this... right?

Huh!  Well, this is awfully bizzare!  Of all the people to see an advanced screening of Godzilla, its Slash?!  Nothing against Slash, but this seems very random!  I wonder what he has done to get such an honor?  And I wonder who else was at this advance screening?

Maybe we can get him to describe the Mutos to us! 

@Madison - that was the Japanese trailer with the Serizawa footage, not the International trailer.

International trailers normally just promote alternate release dates, which this one does.

Since I work at a theater and I obviously dont have to pay for movies, I plan on seeing it a couple of times in different formats. Ex. Imax, Imax 3D, standard digital and standard 3D. Maybe 4 or 25 times each format :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

It really depends on how good it is. I imagine I'll see it at least twice unless it's terrible. 

There are few movies I've seen more than 3/4 times, unless they are particularly good. 

The most I've ever watched a single movie was 8 times. I just don't objetively see Godzilla getting up there, but hard to say anything before the movie comes out. 

So probably in the ballpark of 3-4 times if it's as good as I think it's going to be.

Funny you bring this up because a friend of mine just said to me, "What id they hype up these Mutos and the antogonist kaiju ends up being *wait for it* Duetalios?"  I don't think I've laughed that hard in a while.

AMEN! :D Its easy to get obsessed with something so awesome!  I sure hope Lgendary gives the Muto Reaserch site a new purpose soon.  The site did an incredible job hyping the new trailer, but it seems we've discovered all its secrets.  If the site is gong to be relevant to the film from this point on, it needs to be updated.  New videos, new info, and other new elements that will hype the next trailer.  The site is far too awesome to just ignore.  I'll be checking for new stuff from now on whenever I have the time!
