my wife would love this.
true,but Gearth did rase a question in his own trailer analysis
he said that " if godzilla was in dorment, could there have been more like him?''
obivisly im paraphrasing it but clck on it if your not sure...
look up godzilla trailer breakdown by Gareth edwards.
......I want one,:)
That looks so fun.
@FAI
It's on tumblr!
I guess the lucky man who got it decided to share it with the world!
Might be the multilegged monster that we saw in the extended teaser trailer
To be quite honest none of this makes any sense.
No, its the Mutos needing Godzilla so they can lay eggs. Anyways, that's a BS script, its fake.
I'm not entirely sure what's trying to be said here or how it pertains to realism...
I can almost guarantee that it's because the film itself is in copyright hell, and anything that is in part with the film cannot be produced or sold without Toho's consent. And they still won't release it on DVD...wait a minute, it could be that Toho wants to release it finally to DVD and wants to release the NECA figure to coincide with it???
Didn't know this had 1998's concept.
UPDATE: A few things here. After going to war with the formating I've re-done the post to give each individual release their own information under their respective distributors. This is just less confusing for fans and it will be easier to edit when more information becomes available.
Next I've added a new edition of Peter Jackson's King Kong which will be released with most of the other Godzilla titles.
Finally, with my new mod abilities, I've stickied this post and made it the "Official" DVD and Bluray release thread. Enjoy folks.
@Godzillafan1995
I'm pretty sure all the Gamera Bluray discs are region free. There's a chance the Godzilla movies from Kraken Releasing will be region free as well since they operate in a similar fashion to Mill Creek. I'll keep you posted on that.
Will this be in stores like toys r us
your making it out as if you know the whole plot, what the hell do you mean they need godzilla to lay eggs, is that in the 'leaked script' that i've heard about, if so the 1. warn of possible sporilers and 2. DO NOT post what happens in that script
also if it is that script, then why are you lot convinced that's the legit final script
Edwards better not give in to the people asking for a Pacific Rim crossover. The two films have a completely different feel and to be honest even though I expected to love PR I found it rather meh.
Well at least this confirms that his atomic breath will be blue.
Also that box art though...
Nice theory @RF
It could most likely be a monster that Godzilla fought in the past, that has since decayed.
I wonder if the flying M.U.T.O will resemble Rodan?
KaijuDinosaurFan12345,
There's already a discussion on this and an official topic for everything related to the new Godzilla trailer right here:
http://www.godzilla-movies.com/community/forums/topic/32011
Feel free to post this information there. Thanks.
Thread closed.
that skeloten did not look like a godzilla skeloten, if you look carefully it is the same thing for miles, the ribs are small and it does not resemble any godzilla skeloten you find on google images.
I'm liking the design of the new Godzilla. not huge on how the jaw of the toy opens though, and the teach look crummy.
I didn't like it at first glance. Looks cheap. But it's growing on me. It has sort of a vintage look. I'm just wondering how many of these toys I can buy trying to pass them off as for my four year old son before my wife gets suspicious.
well we know that godzilla has blue fire now
@GOJI2014
omg, thank you for saying that, to add on. It looks like a movment Ghidorah would make. But what Gareth Edwards said in the trailer break down, the orgigomy bird reference whats gonna happen later in the movie.
Do you know that topic concerning the flying muto?, that was really something, I watched it over again and it definitely seems like a gargantuan wing coming down on the left of the screen during that short scene where the helicopter is spiralling down on fire. Please just check it out and let me know your thoughts thanks ✌
GTBETTA35, I like your theory, particularly regarding the connection between the sink holes and the insect mutos. I disagree though on the flying muto, the little that we see of it just doesn't convince me that it's an insect. Great catch on the origami figures though! I didn't catch it until watching Edwards' commentary, and that was after several viewings of the trailer!
dammit america, why do you guys get these stuff first
I want the attack and roar Godzilla, and possibly a muto toy.
i didn't really know that so thank you for telling me, i just hope this new movie does something that could help uk fans instead of buying a region 1 dvd and then having to get a region free dvd/blu ray player for just those dvds.
well if it is a red color i hope it is a crimson or scarlet red instead of one that looks like fire, but blue still seems more classic, but we won't know yet, more info might confirm or deconfirm it.
I'm no home video rights guru by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think Sony or Classic Media are permitted to market their Godzilla licensed movies to countries outside North America. At least not without Toho's permission.
See Toho doesn't make any money off of the movies sold in other countries. They make money of off what the distributor payed them to get the rights to specific movies. If Sony tried selling the Godzilla movies they have in other countries (and they most likely don't have permission to do that) Toho wouldn't be reaping the profits. That's not their style.
Toho would rather a European distributor buy the rights from them directly so they can have another check to clear. And then that European distributor would make money off the individual discs they sell.
In short you could say it's Toho's fault... but on the other spectrum of things you could also blame distributors in Europe for not being interested enough to approach Toho for the rights to these movies.
