Really looking like that script is real.
Also, I guess I wasn't too nutty with my precambrian theory, but its looking like Godzilla's species is even older than precambrian.
Pretty cool for kids, big toys never really appealed to me as an adult, but for children they are great. Plus it doesn't look half as bad as the other goys.
Call me when you get to Princess Salno. Akiko Wakabayashi is my ultimate crush in from the Godzilla franchise.
Yeah, I made a thread like this a while ago. Fans are still adding it up to mere chance that so many things are accurate and right.
Either way-- I know the script was real, they're going to continue to argue its not, even after the film comes out. Being wrong hurts them deep down in a place they don't care to explore.
That and I also think for some reason a bunch of fans had this... idea of what the movie is, this preconcieved notion and the script goes against it.
So while they are telling us that the script is fake, they are coming up with weird theories about Winged Muto being Rodan, more than one Godzilla fighting in the film, and believing poorly made toy previews are real.

That's really gorgeous, nice work!
the last sentence, you can infer what MUTO's relationship to Godzilla is
@**AL**, no problem! Thank you for the compliments!
It was inevitable, true. I imagine the new one will just be a re-packaged version of the first bluray release.
good work, really good work, I like how I can see the big G in all the angles, thanks for share it with us.
@TW_G-FAN2014 Are... are you Kyero!? I haven't seen his face around here for a while... did he make a new account for some reason?
WOAH. Gotta have this. Even if it is for kids.
In a certain point this Muto may look similar to Cloverfield's monster but at the same time it totally look different. I've checked around the net for images (couldn't upload them) but both doesn't really look so similar, their concept may lead you to think " I've this before, haven't I?" but once you have both in your view won't think that so much.
well, atleast it looks "decent" but for 40, meh....it's ok
That looks really good.
@Daikaiju_Danielle, thanks haha nope, just me being bored drawing Godzilla haha
That's incredible, man. It looks like official Godzilla 2014 artwork!
@Junkerde, thanks, man!
Now that's legit my man, good one!
Sioux Falls, SD. at Century theatres!!! they have the best popcorn in my opinion!
West nyack, NY at the IMAX I work at and the IMAX at the Lincoln Center in NYC and maybe even other places. I get get free tix to all AMC+ IMAX.. So I'll be seeing it at many different places
But how about Toywiz.com? I found divergent opinions about the site, so I would like to know if it is reliable.
@Junkerde
Ah, that makes sense. Thank you. :)
Let's follow GhostKaiju's example and not give any spoilers.
@DAIKAIJU_DANIELLE
that's because it was a script in 2012, an old one, the iceberg parts were most likely scrapped. In an interview with Elizabeth Olsen, she tells them that Gareth Edwards had a first draft of the script (the one GhostKaiju is talking about) but did not like it at all. So there is a rewrite, but with some ideas still in tact.
Interesting. Maybe some parts of it are true?
I'm still not buying the whole "iceberg" idea, as well as the female and male Mutos either.
Also, it states that "Bryan Cranston's character works at the nuclear facility in Hokkaido that melts down. The meltdown is blamed on a flaw from his design", which is pretty different compared to what the trailer is saying.
Very studious of you! I haven't read the leaked script, but if what you're saying is true then I'd say this is definitely confirmed.
I also appreciate you not spoiling anything. You certainly had a number of opportunities but you decided to stay classy.
At this point, anything could be possible! :P
I see nothing wrong with his face. I think he looks pretty sweet. :)
As EoGodzilla said, it's a fake image. The parts that makes up the "muto" isn't even for a Godzilla figure.
it is highly unlikly they would have mecha's in this as pacific rim already did that, but i'm not going to speculate what the surprise is becuase i want to be surprised, as long as it is either unexpected or scary or awesome then i'm fine. i'm probably going to have to go off this ite till the movie comes out to avoid the toy pics and speculation as well
well, sure. As long as it's not mechanical, I won't complain!
i said a HOMAGE 'not' the actual toho monsters monsters
@GodzillaFan1995
There are some really cool Toho monsters and, of course, some really terrible ones too!
However, the director has been adamant that Godzilla is the only Toho monster so I really don't think there will be any others -- are any that are too similar for obvious intellectual property considerations.
So if it's another kaiju, it's probably an original. I have a warm spot for Ghidorah, so I would love to be wrong, lol.
did you guess ever think it could be either a monster with g dna or a really big monster that is a hoamge of an iconic toho monster (from the showa if you think the heisei monsters are iconic). and i find the latter the most sensible
Just got home from work and I'd like to respond to a detailed critique (thank you!)
@TW_G-FAN2014 With all due respect, I think you are missing the forest for the trees. Yes, we can evaluate each quote separately rather than as a group and determine that they don't say much. THIS IS TO BE EXPECTED because each writer was sworn to secrecy so they are trying to not give away anything.
But they do each give away a slightly different part of the "forest", allowing us to step back and see something larger in their comments (which I never called facts, btw).
For starters, they all agree that there is something big that has not been divulged yet... one calls it a "400% more awesome plot twist". Another calls it "something huge" added to the skydiving scene. Another calls that scene "every bit as dramatic" and "not what you expect".
Ok, if someone wants to look at that and conclude "Godzilla fights a giant bug", then by all means do so.
I don't see it that way at all. I think the writers are hinting at something bigger, more dramatic, and in the HALO jump scene in SF.
What is it? I don't know, but I seriously doubt that it's a MUTO. There were several already hinted at BEFORE the 20-minute preview was given and, like I said, Godzilla already has a long established history of fighting monsters.
Why do I think it might be a "Godzilla-like" kaiju? I don't know. I'm grasping at straws and hoping someone else has a better idea. I did show a screenshot going around showing what appears to be Gojira spines that don't match Godzilla as an example, but I am open to other possibilities.
But that it's just a MUTO/bug? That's not worth the secrecy.
Hopefully they will actually make a Muto toy like this.
