From that description, it sounds like the same scene that was shown at ComicCon'13. We see a little bit of these scenes in the trailer.

Dr Strange Love got his degree from the school of hard knocks. plus all the older godzilla movies are different kind of movies than what this movie is going for. Gareth Edwards has said his biggest inspiration from the original 1954.. How many monsters were in that ? When ever I have an itch i go get a prescription from Doc. Strange Love

Cranston character Brody dies......joins his wife in the afterlife. The whole movie is geared toward a disgraced man who does a heroic deed that cements his legacy as a great person or hero......sigh.......lol........Godzilla on the other hand lives.

uhh... that thing scared the crap out of me gosh i think i was around 4 at the time i seen that movie. got to hand it to jim hensons creature shop that guy was really talented to create that along with the dinosaurs that came on disney, the muppets and so on and so on.

you were not the only one who suggested to others about a possiblity of there being two godzillas in this film. if alot of members here recall i had a decent conversation with another member who has not been here on this site for some time now but anyway we talked about the possiblity of there being two godzillas and i simply said to this member that one was female and the king is male but nothing in return from others so do not feel bad about it i have had to keep my mouth shut on things because i have made a jackass of myself here on this site.

The big question now is... who does? I'm thinking of an Easter egg... What if there is a laboratory scene in the movie, I bet somewhere in there is a picture or prototype of an oxygen destroyer. Another would be, if we see a little kids room, there might be a figurine of a monster in there somewhere.

I also mentioned the two Godzilla theory on this site and was called "stupid". Also see it mentioned on othet forum sites like the Toho one. Guess we'll see who gets to say "told ya so"!

I like how Gareth said the Skeksis from the movie The Dark Crystal influenced the design, that was a brilliant movie. Loved it when I was a kid. 

I didn't know that this was to be all of them as a family... This could be a major plot changer!

Ohhhmahhhgoodneesss, this movie will change the low reputation of Godzilla to alot bigger, this is exactly what needs to happen so that ill be more comfortable talking about Godzilla around places.  I believe in this movie

Hmm, they do look odd, sometimes the pictures are fuzzy then they stop being fuzzy, very weird. Maybe takes awhile for the eyes to adjust.

Not to be mean Dr. Strange Love, but I am extremely dubious about your "doctorate" in cinema given your comments and poor use of spelling and grammar. Forgive me for being skeptical, but your style of writing doesn't inspire confidence in your claim.

Besides, I fail to see how this movie could contain too much with only three confirmed monsters. Godzilla fights one, walks away. He fights another one, walks away. Movie over. How is that too much? Now there will likely be more monsters than that, at least I hope. But still, how is this too much?

But by your logic, these Godzilla movies were all 'too much.' And to be honest, I completely disagree on multiple counts save for a select few.

Would you agree with this list then Dr. Strange Love? All of these Godzilla movies had three or more monsters in it, and by your presented logic as a "doctorate of cinema," they are all 'too much' for one screen.

I'd like to think Godzilla's atomic ray from Godzilla vs. Destroyah could penetrate an AT field...but Unit 01 is so agile (assuming even more so in its ascended form)

First things first, I love the informatin presented. It gives a bit of perspective to the official trailer as far as what order to expect the clips in. While many are out of order, the swimming shot is first, the flare shot is second, the tail shot is third (or maybe it's before the flares, I can't remember cause I'm too excited), and then we get the airport scene.

Cool stuff.

I don't want to be a downer, but as far as this footage leaking to the net... don't hold your breath. The chances Gareth will let this footage leak, given how soilerific it sounds and the fact that they said there were one or two moments where it looked unfinished, are as good as zero. We won't be seeing anything until the next trailer or even the movie itself.

Its weird, right now the pictures look pretty fine, and then when revisiting this thread, sometimes itll look bad again, so how does it look like right now to you?
