The FinalGoji design is possibly my favorite, and I'm totally not fond of the GMK design, so this is a pretty straight choice for me
I actually like both these suits so it was a tough call. GM's head looks so much better but that borderline pregnant belly is not aesthetically pleasing.
yeah, mine's a bandai (i want to say 1999) godzilla
GMKGoji is a thousand times better than FinalGoji, and that does not enter the podium of my favorite designs, but instead, I consider FinalGoji to be quite ugly. Much is said about the costumes used in the '60s and' 70s, but I forgive those because well, I did what was possible, but FinalGoji was made that way on purpose, thin, with few and small plates, too humanoid legs, a face that for some reason reminds me of Donald Duck (no political jokes), and other details that make Final Goji the only design I have to try to avoid seeing a guy in costume.
my first figure was a shmonsterarts 2000 with white spines, and Not the KyriuGoji.

lol
Although i like 2000 a lot too, because he was my first figure
chris made a topic explaining how
2001,
People say scary, but I don’t really think so.
How do you make these polls?
How do you make the polls
I think Chris is having a lot of fun with this new feature.
Since I picked 2001 in the other pole I guess I'll pick 2000...
I'll say GMK
To me FW is too skinny for a Godzilla

it’s for a fight scene between Anguirus and Godzilla
@Kattozilla I'll think about that topic.
As flawed as the Millennium series is, I have to go with it. I don't care about world building or continuity--Neither are prerequisites for making good movies and it didn't enhance the quality for either the Heisei series or Monsterverse. (In fact it worked against the former.)
I think the Millennium series probably did more interesting things and the division of continuity helped create a specific feel and mood that didn't have to carry over into the next movie. It gave the filmmakers more freedom to do whatever they wanted and what they wanted was pretty interesting: Movies with with their own backstories - movies with crazy ideas like black hole canons and the spirits of war dead - movies with heavy risks like outside studio talent for GMK and Final Wars and the score for Godzilla x MechaGodzilla being recorded by the Moscow Symphonic International Orchestra, etc.
The quality wasn't always there, but it at least always felt fresh and uncertain--which I had a lot of appreciation for.
Mmmmm...no. Just the same level as awesomeness.
YEAH, BOIIIIIII!!!! Gonna buy it as soon as pre-orders are can happen.
Topic or Kaiju?
I actually really dont like mechagodzilla that much, but this became one of my favorites
GvK is my absolute favorite. I do agree with Xenotaris, 2014 does have a special place in my heart, but GvK was just pure fun and I really enjoyed it. Especially Kong taking down MG.2.gif)
awsomnes (pretty sure i mispelled this)
it would take a long while. Although this is just my speculation, if this design is being used on a ride, and the fan's positive reaction to it; Toho has a perfect opportunity to use this in future films. I feel like once that's implemented there's a 100% guarantee to get one. If not, I could see the SHMA figure being a limited-time offer since this is based on a ride. We will see in due time. For now, I'm 100% getting this! Let us know if you hear anything!
I love the MonsterVerse Mechagodzilla, but I like Kiryu more.
I really like the design of Millennium Godzilla.
2000 or 2001?
Well I like both...
2000 is cool...
2001 is also cool...
2000 is more unique...
But 2001 is more classic...
2000 has spikey fins, but I don't like that they're purple...
2001 is scarier, but I don't like his lack of pupils...
scary...
spikey...
scary...
spikey...

*thinks the whole battle in brain* well its 2000
I can see there being high enough demand for this figure, someone will supply that demand. Give it some time. Would be sweet if SHMA could secure a license for this Godzilla. I'll reach out to them directly and see if that's in the pipeline for them.
o wait were talking about designs? (goes to change to goji 2000)
Godzilla 2000 was the first Godzilla film I ever saw in theaters, fun fact! So that suit holds a special place in my nostalgic heart. Always loved the radical new dorsal spines, always thought they were extreme and over the top, but in the best way. Pair that with his angry mug and the high pitched roar to match. I think MilleGoji takes the cake for me, by a narrow margin. Still love the GMK suit a lot, though.
it's not available to buy just yet. Since it's coming from an amusement park in Japan we would most likely have to wait for resellers. MAYBE they'll have a website that'll sell them so we will see.
when is it available to buy? Or is it up already?
why would you make me choose between some of my favorite gojis? jmioejmxmdJIIHUJXI--
um
gmk, ig because i like his head
