I don't know. Last time I checked I was 4' 11 1/2", so about 344x shorter...
I'll be there at 7 PM on the 15th! I'm glad premeries are a lot earlier than midnight. I'm terrible at staying up.
Which Godzilla has the best potential for a redesign?
im seeing it at 7:00 may 15 in imax 3d
There's a question I have about Destroy All Monsters' DVD/Blu-Ray reissue. I've read from reviews on Amazon that the initial DVD/Blu-Ray release included the AIP dub as well as Toho's international dub. Will the reissue have the AIP dub as well, or will it only have the inernational dub?
That's why the "SPOILERS" tag is for.
I'm about 5'5, so only 344'7 shorter. Yeah, I'm not very tall, I might reach 5'8, but that's about it.
If it was Undertaker back when he was fighting like he did back when it was the first Wrestlemania where he fought Triple H, then it would have probably been 22-0. 21-1 is stll impressive though.
Thanks GOJIRA2K, it's not done yet.
Wow, that is really good. Nice job.
Got any pics, @Xengi?
Check your inbox Evan ^.^
about 5 five feet its just right for a 6 grader but you would be 343'7 and i would be 345 shorter than him
I saw it but want to watch it again. It was pretty impressive though. Muto looks very cool, the animation was awesome, Godzilla looked like a king.
6 foot.....can you do the math??
Nahh...I'll do it! He is 344 feet taller than me! I'm still growing.
I'm just glad that Godzilla wasn't introduced to the world via Superman comic book. He'd have been locked in the Phantom Zone or thrown into the sun and forgotten.
praise the lordtz i never seen Godzilla raids again
@godzilla 2014 rules
21-1 buddy think your brock lesnar can do better? XD
Stone cold steve austin was preety cool but i like the rock and brock leasner
Me!! I'll be bringing my Girlfriend along with me too!
i dont really think the mutos exsisted during godzilla's time, i am still spectacul about them being from outer space, however for the support of the world holding many godzilla's....ummm i would say at least maybe a few hundred exsisted during this periodic time, and that they all lived and ruled the world for millions of years. i really dont know just a theory of mine i guess.
Well in my G-series Doujinshi manga storyboard, The Kaiju's are classified by breeds meaning they are they're own species not just one of each.
The Godzilla breed is named Gojirasaur here and they've got plenty, although only 20 are from the "royal family"(king of monsters) (they're the alpha's) and only those 20 have left the Monster Islands, so they we're classified by the order in which they appeared. 14 Gojira's and 6 Godzilla's. The main Gojirasaur is Godzilla III, the 1970's Gojirasaur is Gojira VII and the new one from 2014 is Gojira XIV, one of the oldest of the species (exlaining his massive size)
Given what we know about Godzilla's breath, I think it's a fair presumption that it's going to be different than we've seen before.
We know from the toy descriptions that Godzilla can focus his atomic energy into a beam, but that leaves a few questions to be answered, which in turn create a few more.
First of all, how much of his energy is required to create the beam? If there is a minimum amount required, it could potentially leave Godzilla exhausted and weak. If it does not require a substantial amount of his nuclear power and thus his energy, then how powerful can it become on a weaker power source?
Also, other questions are: How does it work? What is the biological pathway of energy within his body that it must travel? Does it start somewhere specific such as his gullet, or some special sack within his throat or chest? If so why do his spines glow (if they do here in this movie, but we know they glowed in the Toho eras). What is the function of his spines in the whole pathway of energy?
I have a few theories about it, and I believe the primary purpose of his spines (if they function the same way they do in the Toho era) is as a filtration system. In much the same way a Spinosaurus or a Dimetrodon likely regulated body heat with the sails on their backs, Godzilla's spines could serve as both a heat regulation system and a filtration system for the atomic energy coursing through his body.
When he focuses the energy, it passes through his spinal column and excess energy is released in the form of light (and therefore heat), hence the glow. Again, this is going off what we saw in the Toho eras and based off of the hope that his spines will glow in this movie.
The questions, answers, and further questions can go on and on, but I'll stop there. It's more fun to contemplate these things silently to oneself rather than finding answers from other people. But hey, if you guys want to take a stab at finding answers to these questions, and any further questions that result, go for it.
I'm locked into a 1030pm US premier on the 15th. Also took the next day off of work so i can go see it in 3d imax.... its....almost.....here.......!!!!!!
i am hoping that they dont make "him" a zilla over again where both male and female gens are in the blood lines. O_O
However, then why would terry morse decide to call the 1956 film "GODZILLA KING OF THE MONSTERS?"
im gonna see it may 16h IM SO EXCITED! IMAX 3-D YEAH!
@gojira2k
hey man even though this is a fan poster, it closly resembles the one i was talking about that was once available on ebay.
only differences are that godzilla was using his atomic breath, the muto was flying, and now i believe that this is the poster that lucky fans will get signed by gareth himself through that contest that is going on right now.
hahahaha that is great, makes you wonder about insurance companies, they were probably like, "oh the hell with it as soon as we rebuild they just knock it all down again." XD
@zaffzilla
just give them time i am sure they will. :)
The funny thing is around here where I live they don't have any midnight permeries for godzilla which I know so far.
heh, sorry when you are like me and you own all the dvds, why bother?
heh... he wasted more beer on stage then he did actually drink it.XD
I will always be an undertaker fan myself. :)
It's already out! It's a featurette but amm, ZILLAHATER, could you do me a favour? I would appreciate it so much if you could fix the links in my art thread! I can't get them working and I'd love to share my art and I think you would be able to fizz the links! Thanks a million.
i still own this game on the duo system that plays both nes and super nes games. :)
And yeah a classic for all times. :)
that would be me that dinozilla0439 is talking about. :)
And no i did not see it either.
I'll be going on the 15th as well here in Indiana. 700 pm in 3D. I live just barely 3 minutes away from our local theater. In fact i am taking that Thursday and Friday off from work. Scheduled those days way back before Christmas too...gonna be a Godzilla filled 4 day weekend for me.
wait...so THAT's where fangoria got the photo for that godzilla cover!
