*sigh* another godzilla colletible i cant aford
wait, godzilla s.p. is part of the reiwa series?
I like the one with red a bit better. Mabey because as a kid, the first Godzilla movie I saw was Godzilla vs Megaguirus.
Going by these titles easily the Revival series. Most of my problems with showa come from the later films though I really love the last 2 installments for the mechagodzilla duology.
Imagine if you get sick and start vomiting a radioactive beam instead of actual vomit lol.
THAT'S how you vomit in style!
Just because you didn’t like the Goji anime doesn’t mean SP will be bad
I'll vote for any live action Godzilla film.
Basically why I call it 'New Ride' too
Kattozilla,
Likely to differentiate it from the Universal Studios rides in Japan.
Haven't seen Singular Point yet, so I can't come to any conclusion on Ultima. I really did not like the Polygon trilogy. So I guess Shin gets my vote (for now).
yes, yes they did.
ok people are calling it Godzilla: The Ride (which i think is its real name) but ive seen a lot of articles and topics saying 'New ride' or 'The new Godzilla ride', so i call it 'New Ride', sort of an affectionate nickname. ill probably still call it that even when it gets older, just because.
*US eas alarm* EEEEEERRRH EEEEEEERRRRH BEEEEEEEP
SPOILERS
i havent seen any singular point episodes, not even a clip
n o
They just "Fred Flintstone'd" down Godzilla's tail at 4:00...

(That is a sentence that I did not expect to write Today...)
From what I’ve seen of singular point, I love it!! It’s amazing. It reminds me somewhat of the showa era.
And It’s just super cool!
just finished the video, EPIC
i feel like i gotta say, i think this Ghidorah does walk bipedally most of the time, he was just crawling/crouching down to get the vehicle. like, humans can crawl too if we want
and rodan was on screen for like 2 seconds and just n o p e d outta there lol (was pretty cool seeing him tho)
Rodan at 2:50 just so y’all know
same
'excuse me, does this taxi go to japan'
that’s true, I guess godzilla wasn’t really meant in meaning to be a giant monster but a walking nuke
I will get to japan somehow..
SarcasticGoji,
I think there are more creative ways of showing power than size though. (Ala, the Millennium series.) I understand the reasoning during the Heisei era, but the effects really suffered as a result. The smaller the scale of the miniatures, the less detailed they were and the less interesting the shots got. These are movies that could have really benefited from lower angles to capture Godzilla's size, but Kawakita was too lazy to put effort into many ground level miniature work for that.
I thought the size in the heisei era era was appropriate. Japan was more confident than in the showa era and was becoming a key player in the world. So the 50-60 meter would be dwarfed by skyscrapers. I feel Godzilla should tower over them.
that’s why Godzilla ultima seems more powerful a kaiju than shin to me. It does have a final form which is supposed to be the best. Shin adapts to its environment and this has potential but can be exploited to make it lose traits, and its change isn’t instantaneous.
he's like
'HOLD ON IM NOT DONE YET'
SarcasticGoji,
I think part of the point of the 2016 Godzilla is, unless there's something around him deemed superior, he's never done evolving. Kind of horrifying.
SarcasticGoji,
Honestly, I love that. I always preferred the smaller Godzillas in tokusatsu because it allowed the filmmakers to create more detailed, elaborate miniatures--Which, granted, doesn't really effect animation or CG. Story wise it was always easier for the characters to interact with the 50-80 meter monsters. I've always felt 100 meters+ was a bit too big since the Heisei era. I'm glad they knocked Godzilla's height back down to the 50-60 meter range in most of the Millennium movies.
Well, Hesei gamera is really strong now that I think of it. He essentially has the same purpose as MV Godzilla in MV. Being a protector of the balance of nature
A thought struck me, what would a finally evolved Shin Godzilla Look like?
I mean it’s confirmed height is 45 meters, meaning it’s 135 tall, 15 feet shorter than the showa height 150 ft
one does, sadly none others do. i forgot who made it, but they make really good lego sculptures.
can I have that link
That lego needs to exist.
looks exactly like the movie
hello guys hmmm what made me a Godzilla fan was Godzilla's original movie Gojira that's what got me hooked
its about time
good thing too, June is coming up.
(and im ready)
remember that old Lego Godzilla from...i think 2019? and how i said this is what MV Mechagodzilla should look like? well uh..i see a resemblance...
