I'm bad at making decisions :]
Umm, I can't read it. There's an Error.
What did I miss when I was gone?
New Update: Kingu has joined Team Ghidorah!

Hopefully that means that they'll explore Ghidorah's origin and other alien life forms in future entries.
Interesting!
I recognize Maguma but not the other two
Daigoro, Goliath and Maguma.
or focus on using the Toho monsters already in the Monsterverse. I felt like Rodan and Mothra could have been focused on more in King of the Monsters but they're significance was drowned out by the OC kaiju
None, going forward the mv should focus on being more original instead of nostalgia banking with toho monsters.
Using toho monsters is toho´s job
Well if Ghidorah is Lucifer then (if Toho would allow it) Destoroyah is Satan
Going by what we have seen in the new trailer and with what little was written on IMDB, they are probably continuing this theme. If we think about it in terms of myths/religion being based on actual historical events, then the kaiju in the monsterverse would/could be represented in religion. Not just western religion, but older Hindu religions as well. There were gods in that religion that had multiple heads too.
Going strictly just by the the Christian religion, then Gidorah (having fallen from the sky) could be ascribed the position of "the morning star". But "Lucifer" being a direct reference to the fallen angel has been questioned by schollars.
If we apply this to the story in this movie franchize, maybe the same could be true? Gidorah could be "The morning star", but the "ruler of hell" could have been another kaiju.
Considering that the kaiju we saw in the trailer was red and sat on a throne and the place around it sort of resembled hell. If this kaiju is from the middle of the earth, and the undertitle is "empire", then the monster could literally have been the source of "the devil".
Anguirus: A skeleton resembling him briefly appeared in King of the Monsters, so they could easily introduce him, with the skeleton being another member of his species. Or, as DangerVille suggested, the skeleton could actually belong to Anguirus himself, with the series introducing him in a story set in the past that eventually shows how he died.
Gigan: They've already established the idea of aliens in the MonsterVerse, so they could do a classic alien invasion storyline, with Gigan being part of their army. Plus Gigan is just so bizarre, it would be a missed opportunity not to include him.
Destoroyah: The Oxygen Destroyer has already been introduced and used in the series (and it could possibly be used again), so Destoroyah seems like a good candidate. They could introduce him (and possibly an army of Destoroyahs) in the last MonsterVerse film, being a massive world ending threat that Godzilla, Kong, humanity and the other Titans have to face off against in one last battle to protect the Earth.
Wait weren't the Aliens from Monsters just misunderstood creatures?
When will we see the results of this survey?
I would like to see the aliens from Gareth Edward's "Monsters" movie appear in the Monsterverse. Since he started the series, it'd be cool to have his creations be brought into the fold. They'd also be cool as an invasive species, something started as a trope with previous monsterverse antagonists.
To differentiate the aliens from their original story I'd have them take over Brazil, Vietnam India or South Africa instead of Mexico.
I hope the series does well, I would love to see more animation in the MonsterVerse.
This doesn't look like monsterverse at all, i like the style their going for, its very unique compared to the rest of the mv, hopefully some godzilla-related garbo doesn't get shoehorned into the show in a post credit scene or something like kong: skull island
Apparently it takes place in the early to mid 90's (possibly set before the events of Skull Island: Birth of Kong) and it's meant to be canon, so it's possible that we'll get some pre-KOTM lore.
no offense but It looks kinda boring in the trailer. But then again I might be wrong
It looks cool! It looks modern, so hopefully we get some insight into Skull Island pre-KOTM.
Even if they only added two or three of the other Toho kaiju, I would be happy. I feel like it would be somewhat of a missed opportunity if they didn't.
i would really like at least 2 movies on the monsterverse titans in KOTM rather than introducing another toho titan. In the movie after godzilla + kong the new empire.
@SasquaDash: I feel the opposite. I feel that the original Titans haven’t been featured enough and that the toho monsters (Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, and Mechagodzilla) have overshadowed them. I hope we get more of them in future projects. However, I would love to see more toho monsters like Gigan and a few others brought into the MonsterVerse.
I hope that they at least introduce a couple more Toho kaiju into the MonsterVerse. Even if they aren't well known, adding them to the series would be a good way of introducing them to general audiences. Plus, as much as I love the new monsters, I feel like they've been overshadowing the classic ones, so I feel like they should add some Toho monsters so that there can be a good balance of new and old.
Personally, I would love to see Anguirus (since a skeleton that resembled him appeared in KOTM), Gigan (since they've established alien titans in the series), and Destoroyah (since the oxygen destroyer was used in KOTM). Even if they only gave us these three, I would be happy.
At least we got Monster Island in the animated series.
I saw my first Godzilla movie when I was about four years old in 1973. I don't remember which it was, but I sat in marvel as this giant beast demolished everything. Kids love breaking things, and that's what he did! We related.
or maybe it wasnt a alien spacecraft but an alien Titan. Ghidora wasnt the only Space monster, Gigan also came from Space
Nice.
When does it expect to air?
I like it, but I believe this show could fall victim to the Writer's Strike so who knows if this'll last.
It's definitely possible that Roswell could play a role in a future installment. I feel like them referencing Roswell in GvK and having other references to alien life could be a potential set up for a sequel.
