In the past 8 years, there have been 7 Godzilla movies. 3 have been in WB and Legendary's MonsterVerse, 1 live-action movie has been made by Toho, and 3 anime films have been made by Toho and Netflix Japan. So, here's the complete list:
- Godzilla (2014)
- Shin Godzilla (2016)
- Godzilla: Planet of The Monsters (2017)
- Godzilla: City On The Edge of Battle (2018)
- Godzilla: The Planet Eater (2018)
- Godzilla: King of The Monsters (2019)
- Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
(In case you're wondering, while Kong: Skull Island is part of the MonsterVerse Godzilla is not a part of that movie's story and so that doesn't count)
So out of all of these movies, my personal favorite is GVK as the movie has great action and a coherent story. So, what's your favorite modern Godzilla movie?

My pick is going to stay GVK. At least for now...

Shin Godzilla and isn't close.

How is it not even close?

Godzilla 2014 respectively.

Understandable.

Called it.

I knew you were going to pick that, but I was wondering if you'd pick something else...I was wrong
;)
What made you think I’d pick it?

I'm the only person here that likes Godzilla Vs. Kong...

Oh and SarcasticGoji, because you praise Shin to high heck.
Ummmmm.......
I can’t deny that

I would say KOTM is 2nd behind GVK, but not close in the slightest....
Let me list them......
Shin
Kotm
14
Planet Eater (I won’t explain)
Gvk
Monster Planet
Mechagodzilla city
Keep in mind I really like all these films.

It's kind of hard to rank them.
My ranking (as of now):
1. Godzilla 2014
2. Godzilla vs Kong
3. Godzilla: King of the Monsters
4. Shin Godzilla
(Honestly 2,3,4 are kind of tied with each other I like them equally)
Dead Last: The Anime Trilogy
(the movies on this list that I legitimately don't like)

Since I only watched the 3 MonsterVerse movies, here's mine:
1. Godzilla Vs. Kong
2. Godzilla: King of The Monsters
3. Godzilla 2014
5. But
6. I haven't watched
7. Everything else.

I also watched King Kong Vs. Godzilla (1962)

It was stupid fun
Okie fine, u have 32 moves left.
Also “Stupid Fun” isn’t actually the point, it was making fun of television at the time.

Making fun of wrestling, to be exact.

i much prefer patellas, but shins will suffice.

2nd?

Yeah I figured
What about SP (at least the people who have seen it)

Singular Point is a TV series...

sonictiger,
You sorta just proved how much smart the original King Kong vs. Godzilla was by showing you didn't get it. It wasn't making fun of wrestling. It was making fun of television broadcast marketing and commercialism. It was poking fun at how stupid it was to make a movie of Godzilla and Kong fighting, because the only reason a movie like that would exist is for commercialism. (Ala, 2021.)

Mine(and my family's)favorite is GvK

Oh the irony... *Looks at GvK box office numbers*

Chris,
I mean... case and point. When you market a movie only meant to pull dollars, it works.
Actually Chris, that’s not Ironic. Irony is the opposite of the expected outcome. So a movie made primarily for commercial reasons would naturally be expected to do well. It would be Ironic if it didn’t.
