@SarcasticGoji, No what I meant by ironic was that a lot of people today take the modern GvK as a serious movie but in reality it is just as a ridiculous pairing as the original. The context of history repeating itself.

Oh... Then I agree. You’re right, a giant ape fighting a nuclear dinosaur, then fighting a Robot Nuclear Dinosaur which is possessed by a Three Headed Electric Dragon from Space, does sound ridiculous.

Godzilla is the greatest franchise ever.

The MCU is the world's most overrated, most expensive TV show. It was an interesting experiment during the years following the original Iron Man and I applaud it's tendency to go zany in later films, but now it's just redundant.

And All Monsters Attack is an underrated, misunderstood gem. Son of Godzilla is a wonderful film as well. If you're judging the movie for how "ugly" a monster is, then I'm going to assume you're not paying attention to the storytelling.

Just because a movie is "boring" does not make it inferior to others. And just because a movie is "fun" or action packed, does not make it better.

I just was laughing at that. I liked all monsters attack when I saw it. It wasn’t my favorite tho.

I'll give it this much. The MCU is by and large better than the self-indulgence in the Snyder Cut. At least the MCU is more self-aware.

Do you know one thing we agree on when it comes to Godzilla (besides Bear Mcreary's score in KOTM being excellent)?

Yeah, I'd say the MCU is stronger than the Monsterverse by and large. But I still wouldn't call it, "the greatest franchise ever."

Anything with the movie Captain Marvel has forfeited that title.

I think every GFan should watch every movie, personally. It's a long journey, but that's part of the excitement. 36 films is a long road, but why turn that down?
