MemberMothra LarvaeDec-11-2018 12:18 AMAs I'm sure you've all seen the second trailer for Godzilla KOTM by now, it looks like we are getting more Titans than the four we already knew we were (i.e. Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra). In the trailer we see two scenes where we could be introduced to new Titans, the hillside erupting and the legs coming out of the oil dig site.
To me the kaiju at the dig site kinda looked like Kumonga's legs from the Japanese movies but because I haven't heard anything about Legendary acquiring more rights to any Toho monsters I'm guessing it's some new, never before seen kaiju.
I've heard a lot of people hoping the one bursting out of the hill is either Anguirus or Baragon but again, same reasoning as above, it's probably a new kaiju.
My favorite theory so far is that these two kaiju appear and Ghidorah kills them on his way to Boston for the final battle to show just how powerful Ghidorah is early on and to set up the final fight against Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra; shows that it takes more than two monsters to stop Ghidorah.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and theories on our new Titans. Hoping they're not just shots they used for the trailer and then shove at the end of the movie as a cliffhanger like some other movies I know *cough Fallen Kingdom cough cough*
