He's not only a Godzilla / Gojira fan but he is also an amazing actor - and is a leukemia and cancer survivor (god bless him)!Plus his character Dr. Ishiro Serizawa a Monarch scientist is already an establised character with a meaningful story behind him (in regards to the bombing of Hiroshima which inspired in the creation of the original Godzilla) and opens plenty of possibilities for an interesting human story agside the kaiju one. I don't know what do you think?

MemberTitanosaurusApr-13-2018 11:57 AMI agree that ken Watanabe should be more of the focus of the nest Godzilla movies.
His character seems to be the most in depth character besides Joe Brody(Bryan Cranston still gave the best performance in that film and honestly it was the biggest mistake to kill him off soo early in the film).
But Dr. Serizawa has such a rich back ground that I think would be great to unfold as the movies go along. His character was the only one really keeping the G14 movie afloat.
