We JUST went over this a week ago or so. Nobody is saying that we believe every word of what TheTruthIsOutThere is saying. Nobody is saying that we believe this person is absolutely an inside source.

What we ARE saying is that what this person has to say is interesting, and we want to speculate on it because it's INTERESTING to do so, and there's no harm in doing so. If the person turns out to be right, great! If not, no harm done, nobody was actually lapping it up like a bunch of sheeple like some people exaggerate the situation to be.

Anyone who doesn't want to be a part of these discussions, I ask you to kindly leave the rest of us who DO want to be a part of these discussions be.

I find that statement hilarious. You and a few others jumped head over hills when this individual appeared saying a few things that other forums long said before they showed up. 

In any case, this individual has yet to prove anything. Saying things like Mothra has a type of poison? You do realize this is nothing new right? Mothra has always had a poisonous attack from her wings ever since the Showa era. "Yes, we G-fans know this" was your comment to me on our last debate. Well, act like it.

You keep insisting on SDCC. Have you or others stopped to think that maybe, just maybe, nothing will happen? I mean, if it doesn't, then what will you bring to us next? If it does, cool beans! I honestly don't see anything happening because the film will only be into 4 weeks of filming when G14 was a few months into filming before anything happened with SDCC. 

Ignoring the above, what other forum is this you're talking about, TheTruthIsOutThere?

Is it Reddit? Toho Kingdom? 4Chan? Spacebattles? Something even more obscure and meme-y?

No one here may be attending SDCC. However, those who have Twitter accounts will be. If you are correct about SDCC, you can bet that people who are attending have Twitter accounts and will spill the beans there. 

I wonder what could be shown at SDCC. Proof of concept teaser, most likely, given the early production schedule and the success of the original 2012 teaser.

Since everyone knows Godzilla now, focusing on teasing what Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah will be like could be plausible. Since this is the Mothra thread, I imagine that focusing on quotes that play up Mothra's mysticism would do nicely.

Any good quotes from history that could do the trick?

I suspect 90% of legendary's time will focus on Pacific Rim: Uprising. As far as Godzilla 2 goes, you might get a teaser poster or an update on how filming is going, that's it.

You're acting like your guess that there would be practical effects is something big, when in reality it was just another very safe bet you had 50/50 or greater odds on. As has been pointed out, someone who is known for practical effects was listed before your so called reveal of this, and even without that it still would be an obvious inference. Fans have been asking, no clamoring, for practical effects to make a return in this series, and the trend in Hollywood overall lately has been to eschew all CGI effects in favor of some practical as well. Once again you act like the "psychic" guest on some lame third rate talk show pretending to speak to the dead with vague statements about obvious guesses.

Guys, I can't say I work for 7 11, but maybe if you go there you just may find a flavor or two of slurpee. Shhhh, it's top secret. ;^)

So anyways, back on topic. I do agree with you there, morgoth9899, that Pacific Rim: Uprising will probably be the main focus in terms of marketing in the next few months or so.

However, with the leak of the temple set photos, I'm confident we'll be getting a decent trickle of tidbits.

TheTruthIsOutThere, looks like you have some explaining to do seeing as how Legendary won't have any presence at SDCC this year, aside from one panel on their comics line. Nothing in Hall H. Not even a booth in the exhibit hall.

Did it ever occur to you that it'd be under Warner Brothers, not Legendary haha.

Um that's really, really bad. If he doesn't have anything ready to show then that's really sad. The movie comes out next February that's really not far away at all. 

I read on another site that there is no Godzilla PERIOD this year at SDCC. 

Looks like Mothra's temple is in China, and with her being cocooned they may skip straight to her Imago form in Godzilla 2.

you're being incredibly vague. Anybody can make these assumptions based on the timeline and movie tropes. Stop.

Exactly. The guy paused the first Monarch timeline video in spots, gathered what information could be from each frame, then came back here acting as if him looking a little closer at public information was "top secret insider info" from a guy who's friend saw a Mothra model, I mean read the script, I mean may be works for Legendary, I mean whatever his story has changed to now. 

Not only has he only used public info and safe guesses like a sci film might be at Comic Con, a lot of his stiff has been flat out wrong because some of the first timeline video frames can't be fully read. That's why he guessed Siberia for Ghidorah, but in fact Ghidorah is in Antarctica.

Would you guys please limit your bashing of TheTruthIsOutThere. These forums are becoming quite unbearable with this obsessive troll hunting. I came here to read about Godzilla 2 speculations and news, not to read relentless attacks on a user. Yes, this TheTruthIsOutThere guy is very likely bogus, but his fake leaks are completely harmless. He ain't getting any money out of his fake leaks, it does not seem like he is grooming any vulnerable individuals for sex, he has not put any spams or porn on these forums, and none of his posts are that offensive. Plus, he seems a lot more pleasant and civil then many of you guys that are calling him out. Also your attempts to expose this TheTruthIsOutThere dude has now degraded into borderline bullying. Even if this TheTruthIsOutThere guy is nothing more then a sham.

One of the other threads like this was recently closed because of the controversy and disagreements stirred in their wake. I feel it's best to just drop this entirely, at the risk of this thread being closed down as well. If others won't, just ignore them. I already gave my word not to speak another peep directly on it anymore, so this is all I'll say.

On that note, knowing that Mothra has been located in a Chinese temple, it makes me wonder what myths and legends she could be linked to in the region. As far as I can remember, there aren't any significant real-life moth-based mysticism in China.

I should close it now and be done with this whole bogus-saga nonsense. Lets see who can refrain.

G. H. (Gman), thanks for making that announcement. Man, when I asked a question on this forum, and it quickly became an argument thread about the validity our controversial friend TheTruthIsOutThere. I got like 30 email notifications from that thread on my phone in 1 hour. It was so annoying.

TBH as of now there isn't really anything to discuss about Mothra, other then maybe the temple and that she's already cocooned.
