Re-writing my old fan-fic (Zilla Jr. Earth's Second Defender) + New list of Characters

Hi everyone. I'm not really sure how many of you will remember this, it's been a LOOOOONG time since I wrote my "reboot" fan-fic about Zilla Jr (it was from August 2014 to around October 2014). Anyway, I looked back at it at the time as something I might want to do again in the future. I sort of forgot about it over the past 2 years and it recently just came back to mind about a month or 2 ago. I have decided that while I had the general idea, and upon reading some other awesome fan-fics (like The End and Tyrance series written by forum member GorillaGodzilla amongst others), I have "refined" my way of writing and explaining the story. I have already started re-writing the fan-fic, with the new set of characters, and a new origin for Zilla Jr, which I will present to you at the end of the topic. I hope those of you who remember this fan-fic will enjoy the new version, and for those who are reading it for the first time, have the same great experience. Below is the new list of characters, I have omitted a couple of them, just changed the names of a few and a few I've added as well. I also include an actor next to the characters, which is just to help the reader understand how the characters look and their mannerisms -

Peter Rogers (Liam Hemsworth) Main HUMAN protagonist, 27 years old, love interest is Thea Tallett. Works as a carpenter during spare time and occasionally helps train at Oliver's fighting gym. His girlfriend, Kate, died in the San Francisco attacks 2 years prior to the story, which still troubles him today.

Thea Tallett (Ellen Page) She is 25, and a student studying nuclear physics. She was a victim of domestic abuse before the story. Her abuser is in jail now, but she now struggles to be emotionally attached to someone.

Olivier "Olly" Rogers (Matt Damon) Pete's older brother, 30 years old. Owns a mixed martial arts gym.

Jonathan "John" Smith (Chris Hemsworth) Nathan and Oliver's cousin, 32 years old. He left for London when he was 12 with his parents, as his father wanted to extend his business there. He came back every year to meet his cousins and other relatives. He has developed a British accent, and as a result, is made fun of by his cousins all in good will. He is now on his yearly visit with his wife as well.

Minor Characters:

Jason Willers: John and Peter's childhood friend. Also 27 years old.

Jessica: Jonathan's pregnant wife.

Gabrielle: Oliver's wife.

Kate: Peter's former girlfriend, who died in the San Francisco attacks 2 years prior to the story, which still troubles Peter.

Kaiju:

Zilla [Jr] : A 300 ft tall, prehistoric creature. A great, great, great, great, great grandfather of the modern iguana. He weighs around 58 000 tons. He is a rare sub-species of normal Zillas, he is larger and more closely related to Godzillas. So far only 2 'documented' members of this sub-species have ever existed (Zilla Jr and his mate). He was viewed as a black sheep, as he was bigger than other Zillas for his age, looked starkly different, with white spikes and being a more blueish tint than others. He also displayed more advanced intelligence than any other one of his species. He actually wasn't completely satisfied by fish, and needed other food to thrive. One day, when he tried to scavenge off a Titanosaur's kill, he was ferociously attacked by a Titanosaurus and was near-death, until he was rescued by a young adult Godzilla who heard the commotion going on. He subsequently called his father, the most-respected kaiju of the land at the time, who decided to take care of the young Zilla, whom he called Junior. He managed to survive the Permian extinction, and only managed to reunite with Godzilla many years later. He moved with his mate away from Godzillas territory to seek colder waters, and find more steady food supply (whales, large sharks etc.). Zilla Jr. was too far from Godzilla to assist in the San Francisco battle, but did return to Godzilla's territory after the battle was complete. Godzilla is seen as more of a father-figure to Zilla Jr, as he didn't really have any family, and while Godzilla is a decade older than Zilla Jr, which would normally be considered as more of an older brother, Zilla Jr has only ever looked upto Godzilla and Godzilla's father. 

Amblygon: An iguana that was mutated by the Bikini Atoll Castle Bravo bomb. He is a quadreped but does occasionally walk and stand like a biped, similar to a gorilla. 235 ft tall when quadrepedal, and 270 ft tall when bipedal. Weighs about 54 000 tons. He has acid-breath that can burn anything, just like when gas is on any object, it can still burn, however it has to be careful how long it can use it for, because using it for extended periods of time could cause him to actually burn himself internally. He was originally just peaceful going, just hunting fish and whales. Although he is territorial, he didn't need to be aggressive as their wasn't anyone that opposed him. He did cross paths with Godzilla a couple of times, but he neither of them wanted a fight, and Amblygon knew he wouldn't stand a chance in a fight against Godzilla. One day, he came across a group of whalers, who mistakenly fired a harpoon into his eye. He destroyed that boat, and attacked several others along the way, becoming more aggressive. One day, however, while a ship was throwing out its anchor, anchor landed on his same eye, which further enraged him. He decided to try and find where these ships came from and destroy that place. It came across Zilla Jr's mate, Aurora, and attacked her. Zilla Jr prompted to go out himself and avenge his mate, without Godzilla's help.
