Kong finally rests. The people are gone, his enemies vanquished. He climbs to the top of Skull Mountain, so tall that almost he almost has an entire view of the island. He stands up, watching the horizon, and let's out an almighty roar, echoing everywhere on the island, as a challenge to everyone who dare try take his throne. All the other creatures tremble, the trees hustle, as to let Kong take his place as King. His roar echoes into the distance..Silence... no challengers it seems, until...
SKREEEEEEONK
A huge bellow is heard, Kong whips around, looking into the distance, trying to make out where it was coming from. It definitely wasn't from the island. He looks to the sea...nothing, was he imagining something? It comes again louder, fiercer, the entire island trembles.
Looking far, just about 500m before the shore, a series of spikes start to rise from the water. A huge figure reveals itself. It looks straight at Kong on top of his mountain. A death stare between the two, the Beast growls at Kong.
Kong growls back, and roars as loud and viciously as he can. The Beast bellows back, all the trees rustle and the mountain rumbles. The sheer power of this Beast is frightening. Kong is not going to back away, he makes his way down, and the Beast makes his way inshore. For the first time in his life, Kong is scared of what he approaches, and only once he reaches the Beast, he realises what a big, big mistake he has made.
