Godzilla and the Backup are about to collide when a loud noise enters the battlefield. Looking up, the two see four military helicopters carrying a mangled body. Its chest seems to have a large cavity patched up by some metal plates. There are some tears and bite marks throughout the body, some exposing metal and wires, while most just show dried blood and scabs. Godzilla recognizes the creature instantly as the helicopters drop it.

The creature roars at Godzilla- with a roar far more metallic than before- and the Backup steps back a bit. Godzilla knows how much of a threat this thing is, and he begins to charge up his Atomic Breath. However, a roar from the sea distracts all the monsters, followed by a high-pitched sound from the sky. As the monsters watch, Gorosaurus and eight Kamacuras enter the battlefield. Six of the Kamacuras attack the Backup, which immediately incinerates two with its breath attack.

As Rodan and Anguirus move on to fight the Backup, it’s up to Godzilla and Gorosaurus to stop Godzilla the Mech. As Godzilla the Mech steps forward to attack Godzilla, Gorosaurus immediately steps in between the two. Bellowing, he kangaroo kicks Godzilla the Mech, and one foot causes the metallic patching covering the chest to cave in. Gorosaurus slams his snout into the cavity, causing the patching to give some more and crack. However, before Gorosaurus can slam his snout in again, Godzilla the Mech grabs his neck. Shoving the mutant dinosaur away from him, Godzilla the Mech fires his Hyper Atomic Breath.

Gorosaurus roars in pain as Godzilla the Mech steps towards him, still firing his Hyper Atomic Breath. Soon, Gorosaurus falls to the ground. Attempting to escape, he burrows into the ground. However, before he can fully go underground, Godzilla the Mech reaches him and grabs his neck. Gorosaurus attempts to fight back, but he’s too hurt and exhausted. As Godzilla the Mech punches Gorosaurus in the face, a spiky ball hits his side. Wincing, he lets go of Gorosaurus and looks in the direction the attack came from. Only about a hundred feet away, he sees Godzilla, who slams his tail on the ground twice. Then, something bites Godzilla the Mech’s tail. Looking over, he sees Anguirus. The spiky creature sees exposed wires and hold Godzilla the Mech’s tail down with his powerful claws.

Anguirus mercilessly tears the wires out of Godzilla the Mech’s tail and soon slashes the organic parts. As he steps back, he feels something like fire hit his shell. Wincing, he looks up and sees Godzilla the Mech’s mouth, with a beam coming out of it. After just a couple seconds, his vision begins to have black spots and all he hears in a low-pitch ringing.

Godzilla watches as Gorosaurus slowly dies, Anguirus suffers from severe heat exhaustion, and Rodan and two Kamacuras desperately try to fight the Backup. Seeing his chance, Godzilla fires his Atomic Breath at the metallic patching on Godzilla the Mech’s chest, which breaks on contact. The beam fries the electrical systems replacing the heart, which Godzilla the Mech doesn’t notice as he continues firing at Anguirus. Godzilla fires his breath at Godzilla the Mech’s mangled throat, and the blast melts the wires and metal plates. Now, Godzilla the Mech’s Hyper Atomic breath is bursting out of his neck. Soon, the entire head and neck explode, and the creature’s burning remains fall to the ground along with the scorched body.

Roaring in victory, Godzilla turns his attention towards the Backup. He sees Rodan and the Kamacuras pair laying on the ground, still alive, but injured. The Backup has some cuts and holes throughout his body. Godzilla watches as it spreads its wings and rises from the ground. However, Godzilla fires two quick blasts of his Atomic Breath, tearing the wings and disabling the monster’s flight. Hissing, the Backup charges Godzilla and kangaroo kicks him just like Gorosaurus. Godzilla stumbles back a bit, but is prepared to destroy his adversary.

^I decied to change up the series a bit since I cancelled Godzilla: Genetics. The Backup is the final boss, but I think I'll make a (non-canonical) battle series after with some of the monsters, finishing with Godzilla the Mech.

For example, I might do the Hybrod vs. the Backup, Mecha King Ghidorah vs. Kiryu, Godzilla vs. Godzilla the Mech, Mothra vs. Battra, etc. Just two constestors in each battle (Godzilla solos Godzilla the Mech)

Godzilla the Mech and Backup need a unique Name, like seriously! xD

I had to print out a chart with all the Godzilla monsters to get on track with your story – it's clearly nothing for newbies.

SCI-FI KING25 - That was an extremely neat chapter! I greatly enjoyed the combat and feeling of urgency you instilled within your writing! Excellent work! Thank you so much for continuing to produce this very fun series! :)

Thanks guys! :)

@GorillaGodzilla, the canonical series is ending, but I'll continue the series with bonus fights, small updates, and re-releases.

@DestoroyahX, The series has more than just Godzilla monsters BTW. :) I started it with Godzilla Wars, a three-part battle, somewhere near the middle of August. Now, it'll end soon. I'll re-release the original Godzilla Wars on the one-year anniversary.

^ xD, you will make another one.

Although the series tanked in the previous one, and this one has been just very lackluster. With Godzilla the mech, "Although i did give the name, he could have been named something better xD." Getting defeated like nothing, and the main villain being called, "The Backup" ???

I am pretty sure everyone expected Godzilla the Mech to be the main villain but its ok.

Good grief.

@Sci-Fi King25 - I was a bit bored at work so i came up with a name and a concept art for "Backup". I tried to use the armor of Anguirus, but it looked really weird with the muto like features and the lean body type. So i went with a more spiked insectoid like look. Hope you like it.

^Good job!

Also, I decided to change his name for the final part.

Gomangillosaurah

(Godzilla, MUTO, Anguirus, Biollante, Gorosaurus, King Ghidorah)

Also, I have some artwork I put together, but I don't have a DeviantArt or anything like that, but I'll tell you it looks like a dragon.

@GorillaGodzilla, Oh. I thought you named it Godzilla the Mech. I took it out of the description and just named the creature that. XD

That's a long name! xD

Upload it to imgur and post it here, can't wait to see it. :D

My first draft was dragon like, but i disliked the idea of another dragon/dinosaur type, because he is fighting so many of them. that's why i came up with something different. Still, i really like to read more of your stuff, it's good.
