MemberMothra LarvaeOct-02-2014 1:20 PMToday Billboard premieres a new track from Rapsody, "Godzilla," produced by the acclaimed 9th Wonder.
9th Wonder, who has collaborated with some of the biggest names in rap and R&B (Jay Z, Drake, Mary J. Blige) serves up a lean, hard beat -- not much more than pointy guitar, a vocal sample, and percussion. This gives Rapsody plenty of space to roam, which is fitting for a song titled "Godzilla." "Godzilla, so above the rest, only God fly with ya," she raps. "Godzilla crushin' y'all villas."
The track appears on Rapsody's new EP, Beauty and The Beast.
Beauty and The Beast comes out on iTunes October 7th.

There are strong men and weak men. The strong ones are here to keep the weak ones up when ever they fail.

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-02-2014 2:20 PMWas that suppose to be good? Because it really was not. They couldn't even speak right " Gah-zilla crushing ya villas."?
I? I am a monument to all of your sins.

MemberBaragonOct-02-2014 2:24 PM^It's what happens when people think that rap is the best music out there.
Sorry but that is a big no. Rap is by far the worst music out there.

AdminGodzillaOct-02-2014 2:37 PMI'm not going to say one way or another about rap. It's not my favorite genre, but I'm not in the habit of condemning entire genres of music / movies just because I don't like them. (Unless it's country...) But this is an example of utter trash no matter what genre it's from. Absolutely awful.

Something Real
MemberGodzillaOct-02-2014 4:50 PMTHE_ARGONAUT - I, um, don't know what to say precisely. I couldn't help but laugh at some of the, um, refrains and what I believe were meant to pass for arias within the musical selection you've presented. That being said, it was quite amusing to hear these young musicians make an attempt at destroying a monster that shrugs off nuclear detonation! For that, I thank you ever so much for sharing this with us! :)

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-02-2014 6:44 PMIt actually sounds like a parody, like this song is making fun of rappers on purpose.
