Really really... :) The Metalpak lacks the 3D disk.  I don't have anything 3D Blu-ray related, so I couldn't play that version of I wanted to.

^Then you made the right choice with the 3D combo pack!  Its the most bang for your buck righ now.  Plus, I've heard all the video problems with the DVD and Blu-ray are much less apparent on the 3D version!

You guys know if the blu ray 3d requires a 3d tv? Or just the glasses.

Yes, you will need both a 3D TV and the glasses.

Ok wait now what exactly is a 3d tv?

Cause i have a blu ray player, and i remember watching Journey to the center of the earth with just 3d glasses on my tv.

Also does it come with 3d glasses?

And if not which ones do i need.

Well i think the glasses depend on the brand, like say its a sony Tv but you need sony 3d glasses

There's a difference between Bluray with 3D glasses and Bluray 3D. Some movies in the past were just Bluray discs with 3D glasses packaged with it. Others are actual Bluray 3D discs which require a 3D Bluray player (which is different from a regular Bluray player. Although some firmware updates might have been able to upgrade some regular players... I'm not sure how that works) and a 3D TV which comes with the high tech 3D glasses.

It sounds to me you watched a regular Bluray of Journey to the Center of the Earth with cheap, packaged 3D glasses. Unless I'm mistaken. Do you have a 3D Bluray player?

OH YEAH?! WELL IM GETTING NOTHING because it isnt released here untill 22th. Kinda depressing.

I would love to get Godzilla tomorrow but I can't because here in Australia the film comes out to DVD/Bluray on Oct. 1st. :(
