mothra rodan and king ghidorah spinoff movies?

Maybe mothra but i don't think they will do it

I'd like to see spinoffs, but highly doubt they'd get their own movies, they're too connected to godzilla at this point

If anything it would be Mothra as a revival to her series, Ghidorah is a big fat no, Rodan isnt out of the question.

Oh i didnt mention that all of these answers are a 1 in 1000 chance of ever happening.

or how about a prequel talking about godzilla and the mutos in the pre cambrian era

These are all great ideas for fanfictions or possibly even official graphic novels based around the new movies, but I just don't see Legendary wanting to spend the money to make standalone movies for the other monsters. If Godzilla 2 does substantially well at the box office (like The Dark Knight-level well), it could be somewhat feasible for Legendary to make a Mothra spinoff, since only she has enough marquee value at this point to have a standalone film. I think the most likely scenario though would be for Legendary to make prequel graphic novels for Godzilla 2, one for each monster explaining their individual origins, similar to Godzilla: Awakening.
