A Few Thoughts

Sorry, this doesn't have anything to do with Godzilla, but I really wanted to get this out. Mods, if you wish to close it, you can. I just hope people on here will read it and understand.

Recently, a lot of people have considered leaving the forums. Some of them are leaving over... well, let's just say they're reasons aren't necessarily very good. But the people I'm referring to are the GOOD people here on Scified.

Just the other day, my best friend Bigbadben left. He was a good person, and although he left for a very good reason, he isn't here anymore. That made a big impact on me.

Why? Because he was one of the few people to really make the effort to be nice or understanding. And lately, it seems we lack those people.

The point of this post is that, as I said, with so many people leaving, usually the good ones, we're growing more and more apart. So what I'm trying to say is, no matter how people act... come on, guys, don't leave.

Now is the time to make a difference. We need to stay in the difficult times and show we know how to be what Scified needs- good members. We need to be nice, understanding, and respectful even if we don't get that ourselves. We can't leave now. These forums need us.

So guys, please stay here. Don't run from the difficult times. Get through it and do your best to improve it. Trust me, with my best friend gone and the conflict I've witnessed, I don't necessarily have a great desire to stay, either.

But as a great guy once said, "Now's your chance to shine."
