Showa still the best Godzilla?

He also needed help moreso than any other Godzilla. After losing to humans(buried him in ice), King Kong, and then Mothra, he finally beat Ghidorah with the help of Rodan, and Mothra, then again with the help of only Rodan, afterwards the movies go off and on in terms of help.

There's also the fact he plays the hero in most of the showa movies so it's more natural for him to win and easier to write.

Didn't think about that, forgot about him gaining partners and help

For me, '54 and '64 are the best. They may not be the biggest or most powerful but IMHO, they're the best Godzillas.

The 2014 Godzilla was very cool. He just wasn't given enough to do to really shine.

Power's not everything. I'll take Showa Godzilla over the others.
