Bandai Namco has the license to Godzilla and are working on a PlayStation 3 game. The news comes from this week’s round up of Japanese magazine leaks, which reports Godzilla will have a retro special effects style. SH Monster Arts are creating 3D models and 3D skin for the Godzilla video game.
Godzilla will be able to fight using kicks, tail swipes, and his trademark atomic breath. An image shows various enemies standing in front of Godzilla.
Godzilla is slated for release this winter in Japan.

The action game will have players kicking, tail-swinging, and using heat ray attacks against a variety of Godzilla’s enemies. Godzilla’s character model was scanned in from the S.H.MonsterArts’s Tokusatsu era-style model of the beast.
