2.Why did you make two discussions with the same details, but different names? If it comes up with an error when creating your discussion, all you gotta do is press the back button on your screen. When you do, your discussion will be submitted if you look on the right hand side of your screen labeled: LATEST GODZILLA DISCUSSIONS.
Hope that helped.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-03-2014 11:19 AMI don't see anything wrong with then changing it slightly. Think of it like this, it could be like it changed slightly because of more radiation absorbing? Godzilla always changes, throughout all the series so far and I don't think anything would be wrong if he were to slightly change, my two cents

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-03-2014 11:27 AMLike imagine, he absorbs radiation from a modern nuclear sub and gets a little bigger, his spikes change and his breath doesn't take so much away from him. I think that would be hot!!!! maybe that'll be the introduction of how he get's his nuclear pulse in this version. Or, it doesn't tak as long to charge his nuclear breath and it almost charges instantly. As long as the changes are right I don't think anything is wrong with a little change. Just don't change much from his looks...

AdminGodzillaJun-03-2014 12:14 PMTweaking would be fine. Godzilla's look has changed throughout the years, I'd have no problem with there being some adjustments to his design here or there. It's also an excuse for Bandai to sell more toys.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-03-2014 1:42 PMOne of the few things I did think they got right in the new movie was the design of Godzilla. Personally, I would make the feet larger, but, that is just me. I could live with the feet as is and not complain about it.
The other thing perhaps is the eyes. Godzilla has usually had larger eyes which adds personality. Again, its not a big thing, but I personally would tweak that.
His height as well. Why not 400 feet? Not a big thing, just a personal preference.
Other than that, I would leave the design as is.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-03-2014 4:45 PMAt this point they could only get away with minor changes. Maybe increasing the length of a few of his spines, slightly increasing the size of his head, making the fangs slightly more prominent.
If they were to go beyond that though I don't think it'd go over too well.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-04-2014 3:49 PMAs a whole I like the design. It's better than many that came before it. But I would make some changes...
Thin him out just a bit, especially the legs. Not alot. Just a trim.
The chest area can be handled better. The armor reminds me a little of a turtle. I would beef up his pecs a touch.
Longer teeth. I feel strongly about this one!
Flatten, widen, and shape the muzzle. I like the back end of the jaw tough. I've been drawing Godzilla like that for years and was happy to see this in the design.
Ditch the gills. I'm not trying to re-ignite the debate. I just don't see the point. You couldn't see them anyway. Which I guess makes it a mute point anyway except for having to see them on the toys.
The spines...make them bigger and make the ends with more points and with a pale color. To me, this element is true Godzilla. 2014's dorsal plates weren't bad, but they looked too much like broken stone as opposed to the unusual character they have in the other films. And they lacked mass. They should kinda clump a little. I do, however, like how sharp they looked.
I loved how they dealt with the segmented tail, but it got too thin towards the tip. Beef it up.
I'm NOT going to complain about the feet. I don't mind them.
One last thing...don't have him pass out! Knocked unconcious, okay, but crumpling into an exhausted heap? No thanks!

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-04-2014 3:51 PM...Oh, and I would have brought some spikes atop his head, all the way to his brows. The top of his head was too smooth.
