Just to be clear, Empire got their information wrong. La-La Land Records released the full soundtrack in 2004 as well. It was also five tracks longer.
And of course the soundtrack has been released in Japan numerous times-- most recently as part of the Perfect Soundtrack Collection master.
Now this is the first I've seen of this particular tracklist. (Perhaps that's what they mean.) But the soundtrack has been available in both Japan and North America for quite some time now.
Regardless, thanks for the update. I'm glad Ifukube's work continues to get attention and that Death Waltz Record Company is pushing another release.
