Something Odd I find about the Wondercon Footage

In the wondercon footage when Godzilla emerges from the Ocean he causes a Tsunami. and then after the soldiers were done shooting at him you see Godzilla contuing walking behind the building everything feels dry and it looks like the water didn't got any further afterwards. we see the MUTO walking by with a guy staring at him under a planes then we see the tsunami water still going by is the airport close to the beach in Hawai or did Godzilla still had big drips of water to drop off? hope you all understand what im talking about.

He was still wet from what I could tell but when we see it on the official release it will be a lot clearer. Hope this helps!

gareth said the footage he showed was not the full thing, the whole hawaii sequence is longer than that, a bigger reveal

That might have been jet fuel from Muto busting up tank trucks; I wondered the same thing.

I'm covering my bases as best I can for the largest of the islands in Hawaii to answer the question here.

Remember, a good sized tsunami can go well in excess of 2-5 miles inland depending on the source. The tsunami Godzilla caused coudl easily spread through to 1-2 miles, so none of the following are out of the question.

Honolulu

Honolulu International Airport is only about a mile and a quarter from the ocean, which is more than close enough for a good sized tsunami like that to reach. Especially with Godzilla dragging along extra water on his body and underfoot.

Kahului

Kahului airport is even closer, practically right on the ocean.

Hilo

Hilo international airport is about a half mile to three quarters of a mile from the ocean.

Kona international airport is just like Kahului, and is pretty much right on the ocean at theedge of the island.

Kauai

Princeville Airport is about a mile from the ocean.

Lihue Airport is right on the ocean at the island's edge.

Barking Sands Airport is also right on the water.
