This is a short discussion. Anyway, I was on Xbox the other day playing Pacific Rim: The Video Game, and I absolutely loved it. The graphics were nice and it was a 2-D sidescroller with 3-D models, like Mortal Kombat. Now what if a new Godzilla game were like that? 2-D sidescroll with 3-D models Beat-Em-Up type game, think of Mortal Kombat and Super Smash Bros but with giant monsters kicking butt. It would have Godzilla (of course), Muto, and Flying Muto, as well as the old ToHo monsters re-imagined. Let that sink in for a second and tell me what you think below. I will show you some images of the games I mentioned:
What do you guys think? Should this be a future heads up for Game designers who want to make Godzilla games? Let me know below!

Id have it a 3d gameplay like the pacific rim game btw

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-13-2014 8:39 PMWe deserve an actual "fighting" godzilla game. I'm not too fond of the candycrush clone we have now. Pacific Rim got a real good fighter mobile game, and Godzilla really deserves one.
But I'm finding it hard to see that because if you read the interview with the people who made Godzilla Smash, they said they originally were going to make it a fighter genre, but gave that up and trashed the idea in favor of candycrush style gameplay. Why would they go back to an idea they trashed? You know MAYBE if we are lucky we'll get one (slim chance though seeing how simpler games get more revenue and downloads), but Godzilla does deserve a good game.

@junkerde, really, a fighter style godzilla game was scraped! wow. if they do a fighter style g-game, at least have a couple people episodes, I mean like "the power plant": "rush to save your wife before she dies." now that I would play. and then u have a episode where u fight the military. (if that happens.)
If there is ever another godzilla game, include 2014 or I WILL DIE!
