A hunted species!

So, in the new movie there is quite the possibility that godzilla will be hunted by the muto creatures and could of been their prey item when the animals co-existed some time ago. Okay, my question is what do you think of the introduction of this more vulnerable side of the "king". I personally like it because it shows that nothing is free of enemies and it is more natrual that godzilla is a hunted animal, not to say that he does not do some killing himself which im sure he does! All in all, it just shows that godzilla is not the only apex predator and I'd like to know your thoughts on this approach!

Actually the whole godzilla is prey thing was scrapped. Now they just have it to where they were both rivals. If they decided to keep it then that would suck in my opinion.

Oh ya okay, sorry. I just thought that was still a possibility.

Making Godzilla the prey would kinda defeat his force a nature status. The rivals idea is WAY better IMO.

I agree with Godzillasaurus Rex. Godzilla can't be an "unstoppable force of nature" if he is a prey item to other monsters.

When you have saw that a tiger or a lion is the prey of other animal????

Tigers and lions can be killed by other predators like dholes and hyenas (only if they attack in great numbers, by the way), but only in VERY RARE cases. Normaly, they scare this second level predators/scavengers and even kill and eat them. That is why lions and tigers the are the "kings" and the top predators in they areas (even over bears!).

Godzilla is like these top predators (or would be, if he were real). Mutos will be just like the secondary predator, predating on all the other animals and maybe, just maybe, if they were in great number, could attack a godzilla. However, that would be a very rare event and several mutos will be killed in the intent. So, from an evolutionary point of view, these attacks would not have any sence. That is why, I think, Garet eliminated this thing of "godzilla as a prey" as is simple stupid.

^^^^ Yeah I totally agree, making Godzilla considered the prey would make him sound more weak so im happy that it got scrapped.
