List of Godzilla and Related DVDs/Bluray CURRENTLY Available

I can't for the life of me find the Media Blasters DVD release of Destroy All Monsters in stores. All I have is the crappy ADV release with the awful English dub track. Well, guess I better check Amazon.

And for whatever reason I'm still seeing the new DVD copy of Godzilla vs. Biollante in stores for like five bucks. I don't know if it's back in print or if stores in my area haven't yet gotten the memo.

The King of the Monsters,
Media Blasters has never been one to stock up in mainstream stores. Best scenerio is that you might find Destroy All Monsters in an FYE or maybe Barnes & Nobles. (Big maybe.) Amazon may be your best bet.

Stores that still have Godzilla vs. Biollante in stock probably have copies left over from when Echobridge had it in print. There's no reason for retail to jack up the prices when they'll be getting their money back as long as the copies in stock sell. They won't be able to order new copies from Echobridge. (Of course they will be able to when Lionsgate re-releases it this October.)

Thanks for the info. I normally look for Godzilla movies at FYE and big book stores like Borders and Barnes & Noble, but I've had no luck finding Destroy All Monsters there. I will check Amazon and see if I can find it for a good price.

The link for it in the original post says it's in stock, albeit, around a dollar more expensive than I have it listed. The third part sellars seem to be selling new copies for a couple bucks cheaper.

UPDATE: I've updated the prices for the DVD and Bluray on Amazon.com. Almost all of them has changed.

Godzilla: Final Wars and The Rebirth of Mothra 1 & 2 DVDs have exceptionally high price tags for DVD. I'm not sure if they're out of print or just low on prints.

And for those interested in the Ultra series, the Ultra Q and UltraSeven series seem to be steadily rising in price. So I'd jump on that soon before they become too rare.

Updated the prices for Black Friday weekend and included the Gamera: The Showa & Heisei Collection.

A lot of the Sony and Kraken Releasing Bluray that were released in May went down in price. Many DVD have either showed no change or are going up in price-- Specifically some of the Sony and Classic Media discs.

Will update again for Cyber Monday.

Just so everybody knows, Godzilla vs Biollante, Destroy All Monsters, and Godzilla vs Megalon are now all out of print.

When did Lionsgate's Godzilla vs. Biollante go out-of-print?

Looks like you're right though. A damn shame. Not altogether unexpected however.

I only recently found out because I had been following this thread, trying to fill in my collection (only 3 short of what is still in print) and I sadly did not pick up Godzilla vs Biollante until it was already out of print, but I was also fortunate to get an excellent condition used copy. I was pretty bummed, since I particularly liked Biollante. 

On another note, most places inventory of Destroy All Monsters and Vs Megalon are running a little low right now, and seem to be in stock on a very random basis. Finding them for under $30 is a bit difficult, so grab them now if you see them. 

Yeah those have been out-of-print for some time. I simply haven't updated in awhile.

In other news, Toho Kingdom just unearthed this little interesting listing on Amazon regarding the 2014 film. No idea what it may include or if the quality of picture will be improved. Waiting for more info:

I've updated the prices to the most recent Amazon.com listings. Son of Kong and the Super Sentai series was added to the list.

Upon further investigation, apparently the Lionsgate and Media Blasters titles (Godzilla vs. Biollante, Destroy All Monsters and Godzilla vs. Megalon) are not technically out-of-print. However, with Media Blasters' track record we can expect the prices to yo-yo little by little until their full supply becomes scarce. Their Stomp Box is absolutely discontinued however.

Lionsgate's Godzilla vs. Biollante is not listed as discontinued yet and it seems to be a case of low stocks at the moment. This is the issue with Classic Media it seems. Immediately it appears as though Dreamworks/Classic Media's titles are out of print due to the dwindling availability and high prices. But it appears to be a stock issue and I'd bet we'll see them make a comeback in the not too distant future.

These prices and availability will likely shift around the time Skull Island comes out. So stay vigilant.

DVD & Bluray listings for both Attack on Titan movies and Yongary: Monster from the Deep have been added.

Any news of any older Showa era movies getting Bluray releases? I'm still holding out for the rest of them, but it seems to be slow to come.
