When the planes are falling out of the sky, does everyone else see the 'Rodan' creature swerving just above the bridge on the left of the screen. Watch it closely, you'll see him bank just above the bridge, kind of in the clouds. It's not where he is coming straight down, it the other scene where planes are falling from the sky.
