There are many other Kaiju that weren't created by Toho, such as Gamera and his villians, Yongary, the Cloverfield Monster, etc. So, which one do you find the most interesting or well designed? This can range from coolest origin, to which one was the toughest, to any other reason you love the monster.
For me, it would have to be Guiron. He is just so weird and his presence results in one of the goriest monster battles I have ever seen. You gotta love a monster that has a sword for a head!

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-15-2014 3:55 PMFor me it's a tie between The Legion and Irys from the Gamera series. Legion is just a really interesting monster to me and they're probably my favorite insectoid kaiju. Irys is just pure badass and I honestly think he could take on Godzilla himself

AdminGodzillaJan-15-2014 3:59 PMGamera, easily. The creature won my heart over with the Gamera trilogy and had great deal of character depth for a giant monster. It might just be my love for those three movies, but they worked to make me really adore Gamera.
