@CODIEC - You seem to have missed something important.
Destoroyah was based on a non-existent life form and created entirely for what was initially going to be Godzilla's final bow. It was a life form based on a crustacean, but not one that actually ever existed. Destoroyah is an entirely fantasy based creature, and this new gritty and realistic take has no room for such open use of fantasy outside of suspending our disbelief that Kaiju could even exist.
Another thing is that there is nothing that points to Destoroyah being in this film. Absolutely nothing. There is no oxygen destroyer. There is no strange microscopic crustacean that we yet know of. There is no reason to believe that all of the M.U.T.O creatures are based on insects or crustaceans. How about a bird? How about another lizard? How about a mammal? We know absolutely nothing about the M.U.T.O's other than one being multi-limbed and one having wings. That is not enough to say with any kind of certainty that they HAVE TO be insects or crustaceans.
All of your "evidence" pointing to Destoroyah is entirely circumstantial and coincidental. Taking such loose evidence as fact is the sign of a fool, and I don't think you're a fool. Over analyzing things and jumping to conclusions? Yes. But not a fool.
@"GODZILLA HIMSELF" - Also, Destoroyah gives the "cannot confirm or deny the existence of this life form." EVERY monster provides that exact same response save for King Monster Zero and Monster X which provide something akin to "this natural phenomenon is heading your way." If anything, There is something akin to or at least remeniscent of one of those two incarnations of Ghidorah that will appear in the movie.
Destoroyah is obviously not going to appear, nor will any of the M.U.T.O's likely be based off of it.
