MemberMothra LarvaeDec-08-2013 2:21 PMPersonally, I love the older Godzilla's, but this one HAS to be bigger. Godzilla is one of the first giant monsters in film, for that time, his size was scary. We've had so many giant monsters since then. And to add on to everyones statements, there is Pacific Rim. Those monsters were huge. Bigger than any other. For Godzilla to be terrifying by todays standards, I think he should be no less than 400ft and no greater than 500ft. I believe that this size ratio for Godzilla would be perfect for this era. But that is just my opinion. How big do you guys think he should be?

True American Godzilla
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-08-2013 2:36 PMI looked at the skyscrapers in San Francisco, the place where the American Godzilla will 'visit' us. The smallest skyscraper is 400' and the tallest is 800+' tall! Edwards wanted tall but not too tall. My personal guess would be 450'-500' tall.

AdminGodzillaDec-08-2013 2:41 PM400 feet/120 meters is about what the rumors are saying. Sounds about right.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-08-2013 6:17 PMI would offer an opinion, but it really doesn't matter. Even if it's just 101 meters, he'll be the tallest Godzilla to ever hit the big screen. His height is truly irrelevant anyway. No matter how big he is, he's still Godzilla.
This whole thing about his height really needs to stop in my opinion, if I'm being perfectly honest.

MemberBaragonDec-08-2013 8:59 PMActually guys, he is going to be 492 feet tall, which is 150 meters. I did some research, and I looked up tall buildings. I found a tower that is the same exact height as godzilla. Look up on google the "Hess Tower". It is in downtown houston.
