True American Godzilla
MemberMothra LarvaeNov-17-2013 1:03 PMI was looking back at the image below of the 2014 Godzilla train scene with lots of green screen, pondering a few things about it.

1: What's going on in this scene?
2: What type of train is it?
Well, the 1st question can't officially be answered until the movie/book is out... unless of course a trailer shows what happens to the train. However, the image above did provide me with just enough info to determine what it is.
It's the N Judah trains that are commonly seen in San Francisco. All images below are ones I found online, and aided me in identifying it.
1: an Inner shot of the train, notice how the seats seem to resemble the 2014 Godzilla set shot
2: Based on this interior shot, , it looks like the dangling humans are in the mid section of the train near the center doors.
3: As the following image shows, this type of train is rather big... According to info online, the train is about 11.5' tall and 150' long.
4: This image gives us an idea of how this train moves about on a normal day.
So what type of train is it has been answered. As to what is happening, I have some thoughts on that.
This page/pdf (https://www.sfmta.com/sites/default/files/routemaps/N-layer.pdf) shows us the path this train takes in San Francisco. Just from their mini map of the route in comparison to San Francisco I can't see anything that would indicate a major incline to warrant the train being dangled by being off track.
It basically travels through the city, from shoreline to shoreline. I see nothing that places the train on a bridge or something. So my theory to explain what's happening in the 2014 Godzilla train scene is this:
Theory: Godzilla has picked up the train and is biting into it. I would say another monster is doing it, but considering the classic 1954 Gojira did this I think it's safe to say the American Godzilla is after the train; possibly thinks the train is food or something.
I believe in Jesus Christ, who's my Lord and Savior.
