I mainly think he goes to earth and other planets to absorb all their radiation and kills all the other titans as well. After terraforming and making it lifeless, he goes dormant for a while and then reawakes to find another planet.
But thats a guess i have, its purely conjectural, i have no evidence.
Just so you guys know I'm asking about 2019 Ghidorah specifically, not any others.
Yeah I'd like to see Gigan, Biollante, and more original titans before Destroyah. He would be a fitting death for Godzilla when legendary loses the rights for good.
that would be amazing I'd probably die from laughing so much I get no oxygen
well not all growth is natural i guess. Gojira S.P and tunicates prove that.
It would be a problem taht he doesnt show up. But it seems like that if theyre getting rid of him in the movies and possibly future monsterverse, so toho can take back the IP.
Honestly i dont want him just yet. The OD was very rushed in kotm, so if they do plan to ring him in, i'd just like a little buildup.
But imagine...
darkness and spines flash... electricity runs through the feathers and....
godzilla flaps his arms in intimadation
perhaps they could make godzilla more penguin-like
HinikunaGoji
"wait so a fish ages into an octopus?"
Not too different from a xenomorph which basically goes from a scorpion to a snake to a man-bug to a theropod-like egg factory
*Cue USA Godzilla Vs. Destroyah time*
If they made a new dinosaurian or avian kaiju with feathers like, it would be pretty cool. Godzilla's always had more crocodilian and amphibious attributes to his design, so feathers wouldn't really suit him.
I think Godzilla not showing up in the MonsterVerse timeline post GvK would cause way too many problems, he has too big of a role in the series to be completely sidelined and dropped without a good explanation. If their going to drop Godzilla from the rest of the series they would need to give him a proper send off.
Plus, I don't think Legendary would pay for the rights to continue using Godzilla, only to have him show up in just one series (one that he'll probably have limited screen time in). It's likely that we'll probably see him in at least one more movie (if not more).
HinikunaGoji,
Yeah and Toho was apparently interested in doing a sequel as long as Anno came back, but he didn't want to. So whatever motivation there was to do a sequel (and there was plenty) never made it to a planning stage.
As for why Shin Godzilla is filed under Reiwa, that's actually Toho's doing. They retroactively file Shin Godzilla under Reiwa, just like they did Return of Godzilla for Heisei.
I love reiwa for diversity, because its an era, not a series.
Also the humans on the tail. Even if it is "shock" that doesnt make it a negative for me. It fits in well with the Gojira in that movie and makes sense. It also leaves for artistic interpretation. Honestly the movie is so much better in japanese though.
Also why did the fanbase start calling it reiwa when Shin came out? Reiwa didnt start until 2019?
I do remember a few articles saying the cast was willing and happy to do a sequel though
She was in a movie with kong, and nothign abotu what she said means that she's in three Godzilla movies, but three monsterverse movies.
Putting him in the show is what i meant by sidelining, because the show is only confirmed to take place at least before GvK
goji could literally not show up ever show up post gvk in the mv timeline
Also Godzilla ain't getting sidelined, he's appearing in the TV show...
Well, keep in mind that MBB (AKA Madison) had a (reported) three-picture deal when it came to the MV.
And all of her movies and plots are related to Goji.
QuinnTKO,
Most of those write-ups were misinformed or click bait English articles. The Japanese sources confirm there were never sequel plans.
maybe GvK was a kong movie, because they were preparing to sideline Goji
Not mad about this tbh. It makes sense that MV Godzilla is going to be in TV for the foreseeable future while Toho makes it's cinematic Godzilla return. But I'm still expecting another Godzilla movie from Legendary, since GVK was more of a Kong movie.
Behemoth looks like a Deinotherium, Mammoth, Ground Sloth hybrid
In pokemon they are just aging since when they have children they start off in their early forms rather than later forms.
But back on topic, I can only see doom if Shin Godzilla were to awaken. It would be bad for humanity in either case regardless if humans can devises away to stop godzilla permeantely or live under it in fear or go extinct
another awesome looking thingamajig that i cant possibly dream to ever be able to afford!
brilliant :)

Well I did mention in one of my three outcomes that Shin Godzilla would wipe out humanity should he devealop anymore immunities, (I refuse to call it evolving because evolving requires needing a mate in macroscopic lifeforms)
Godzilla with feathers, ooooh, anime style feather projectiles tipped with godzilla's bio-atomic radiation would have been too awesome!

They could be an extinct clade of eight limbed vertebrates that coexisted with tertarpods
What if the monsterverse was still dudes in rubber suits?
I don't think so but then again this chromebook is trash
Sorry guys something's been glitching and making 2 posts instead of one idk what's wrong. Also Godzilla doing the chicken dance would be hilarious.
Yeah, In hindsight the feathers would have been weird.
Istead of back spines flashes for intimidation, he would be flapping his arms
I like certain things in that design (like the 2000 influence), but I'm not really huge on the feathers/quills, they look kind of weird on Godzilla.
I personally really like the two images with the sculpture of Godzilla's head. I remember a lot of people thinking that they were real and, even though it turned out to be fake, I honestly wouldn't have minded if he actually ended up looking like that (although I prefer the design that we actually got).
