eyyy. now I think my sister will be interested in Godzilla.
I have a feeling this trilogy won't be that great. Anime always seems to pull in certain cliches and stereotypes, so I'm skeptical too see what will happen. However, I will keep an open mind.

An actor who supports a socialist governed society. Big Bernie Sanders supporter. When he makes big money from being in this movie.. let's see how much of it he'd be willing to part with.. should a socialist ever run Washington and the country. I think he has talent.. enough to earn big $$$$.. but he might not be so willing to part with it.. should someone like Bernie Sanders.. be at the helm of who gets what in their vision of how the world should be... and what money gets reallocated to help those.. who don't help themselves.
And Godzilla King of the Monsters.. will make a lot of money.. you betcha.
Watched the movie again. It makes kind of sense to me now. They call him TTYODK more than once. Guess its´just his name... and I have to admit, it sounds quite awesome. ;)

This is good. I believe he may be working for Monarch, such as Aisha Hinds character, (or will she not. We've yet to find out.), like as a soldier leading a secret task force against the monsters. But other than that, I'm all for whoever is yet to come on board for the Godzilla 2 movie. If they bring anymore actors, it'll probably be one more.

Well I'm going to go on popularity and name recognition because that's what makes people come to see the movie, and would probably override the stretched "realism" the mosterverse has at the moment.
So with 4 of toho's big 5 being used pretty likely at 1 point the 5th shows up.
I think it could be a little more realistic to having mecha if the timeframe were at least 100 years in the future. It seems to always be modern day because we don't have the proper resources to take on Godzilla or the other monsters with an equal. I thought Gareth Edward's Godzilla movie did a good job of that, where the armed forces were pretty well out matched. Of course, having MUTO's that spread an EMP pulse around them does not help. If it were in the future, we could have progressed to larger mechs, maybe not quite as large as in Pacific Rim, but numerous enough to maybe put up a good fight against a monster or two.

The mechs I am referring to are Mecha Godzilla, Mecha King Ghidorah, Mechani Kong, Moguera and Jet Jaguar.
The only two I know are MechaGodzilla and Mecha Ghidorah
Why such a specific question?
In any case the only instances coming to mind, where there might be a shot of Godzilla stepping in mud, is the end of Godzilla vs. Biollante where they attempt to raise Godzilla's temperature or the opening of Godzilla x MechaGodzilla when he makes landfall. But I'd have to re-watch both sequences to see if such a shot exists. I'm leaning more towards Godzilla vs. Biollante.

In Godzilla Vs Biollante, Dr. Shiragami, Sho Kuroki And Dr. Kirishima Are Stepping In Mud In The Pouring Rain. Plus At The End When Kirishima Has To Fight sss9 They Are Stepping In Mud And Get Covered In It.

A simple Google search would tell you that the movie (G2) had its release date changed (this was made known MONTHS ago)
Moving on- If anyone manages to stumble across the leaks, I'm sure you'll know what I mean when I saw I'm at least 110% sure its legit, as an associate working on the film has stated to me, Michael Dougherty is looking to bring Ghidorah to life by partially using practical effects.

Guys he clearly explained that the above is fake. He's referring to another image that is allegedly real--Though I don't really buy in to it.
If the above image were real that would be disastrous.
I would prefer if King Ghidorah stood up like in the old movies instead of trying to look like a three-headed Smaug. But whatever. There is no confirmation yet. Stuff that gets leaked isn't always accurate. And judging by the picture, these look like incomplete models. Godzilla's tail is a lot thicker than it was in the actual movie. Also, I thought Godzilla King of the Monsters was coming out in 2018?

I'm still not convinced the "real" piece was actually real. As fishy as it all sounds, it's sort of been done before numerous times in the fandom.
I would love to be proven wrong, but at the moment I'm just not buying it.
Not effect shots, more like rough sketches of concept mechanisms, a sketch diagram of what the future prop would be meant to do and how the effect could be practically achieved.
Not the normal type of thing to leak, but still, its without a doubt legit and an interesting thing to view if you're into that. Seems like the necks (the throats) will be very crazy and alien for sure
I met Gareth Edwards on the set of Godzilla back in the day, I had initially no interest in the big green galoot until I sat down and talked with the man, he was so passionate in what he was working on, I couldn't help it, he sold me.
I can also confirm that it will be a lot harder to keep leaks from getting out this go round, expect more to slowly seep out, just wait until you guys see some of the Mothra concepts, and wing layouts, you guys will go nuts

I finally got caught up on everything. I'm not sure the other is real either. Pre-viz is one thing, but early effects shots without any photography? Paint me skeptical.
In the meantime, lets regulate the conversation to one topic and not spam the secondary "leak" in all of the other threads.
